The Fort is accessed by steps, and the gardens and path down to the beach can be uneven, requiring suitable footwear depending on the weather conditions.Other things to remember• Don’t forget your accommodation details.• It’s a good idea to charge-up your electronicdevices before you arrive (and rememberyour charger!)• Pen/notebookWHAT SHOULD I REMEMBER TO BRING?It is not possible to predict the path and requirements of the pandemic. However, the situation will be monitored and all reasonable policies for the prevention of the spread of Covid will be employed.Much of the event will take place outdoors. Please be aware that the venue is located on a coastal cliff site with some natural barriers to accessibility, such as steep steps and uneven ground in some parts of the garden and beach path. The historic building and surrounding structure also have some access limitations. There are ramps from the end of the car park down to the back door of the Fort which can be used for wheelchair access. The gardens are down a flight of three steps from the main area, which require a further wheelchair ramp and there are two further wide steps at the entrance to the garden, for which the wheelchair ramp can also be used.Given the numbers attending we would ask that any delegate expecting to use a wheelchair, with other access requirements or queries, to get in touch in advance to ensure we can accommodate your needs as best as the venue allows. For those unable to attend the event in person, there will be professional recordings of the presentations and workshops, alongside aspects of the social events. To be notified when these resources go live, you can sign-up here:www.jungbythesea.co.uk/on-demandIS THE VENUE ACCESSIBLE?Yes, the Fort is a non-smoking building.
