Receiving a Habitat Home is no easy process. After meeting qualifications, future homeowners must spend hours in classes learning how to own and maintain a home. Then they must put in "sweat equity" by working on other's homes. Finally, the construction on their Habitat Home can begin. Along with volunteers, they help in the building.
