December 26 2019 4 00PM Happy Chanukah The Torah Academy Gala Auction was a great success We are grateful to our auction committee Miss Shifra Goldman Mrs Michal Blumberg Mrs Esti Dessler Mrs Frumie Krochmal Mrs Leah Ochs and Mrs Aliza Rosenberg Yoshor koach to Rabbi Yonassan Rodkin for preparing the 58 grade boys choir Thank you to all the boys who participated and made the special part of the evening Thank you to Moshe Feldman for accompanying the boys Thank you to Henoch Blumberg for his musical accompaniment later in the evening Rabbi J P Katz our emcee assisted by Rabbi Alex Nadler enhanced the evening Thank you goes to all the many volunteers too numerous to list here who helped in so many ways big and small and contributed to the evening and made it such a wonderful event Acharon acharon chaviv thank you goes to our Executive Director Rabbi Binyomin Mermelstein for all his efforts on behalf of Torah Academy December 27 30 Chanukah break no school December 31 regular classes resume January 1 no school due to Siyum HaShas The bulletin is sponsored in honor of our mechanchim and educators by Lots of Chanukah learning and activities took place in both of our buildings this week Each class had its own celebration Boys in grades 1 4 in the Williston building davened Hallel together in the All Purpose Room It gave a special feeing to the davening Classes baked cookies made doughnuts sang songs played dreidel and other Chanukah games Tuesday night a Chagigah for all the boys classes took place in the Hamilton auditorium It included plays and Divrei Torah Middle school girls held a chagigah on Wednesday night that was organized by 8th grade G O Thursday morning the girls in grades 1 8 participated in a talent show What an array of talent Thank you to all our rebbeim moros and teachers for all the spectacular Chanukah ruach that permeated our classes this week
