The customer is a key producer of sweeteners like corn syrup and dextrose, and the project is positioned to significantly enhance their facility’s operational efficiency and reliability. Zachry’s scope of work for this project is a 2-phased conceptual engineering and detailed design. Though this project faced some challenges, like many industrial projects in existing facilities (brownfield projects), Zachry effectively mitigated them using a proactive approach, such as identifying and resolving existing equipment interferences, ultimately ensuring a smooth construction process. The new configuration allows for more efficient drying of corn germ by enabling the utilization of both dryers. It also provides the capability to isolate one dryer while operating the other. This adds a vital layer of redundancy, significantly increasing overall production by allowing for continued operation during unanticipated shutdowns and maintenance. Zachry Engineering continues to provide ongoing support by addressing any Requests for Information (RFIs) during the construction phase, demonstrating our commitment to the project’s success through to its final commissioning. This collaboration underscores Zachry Engineering’s expertise in delivering complex industrial solutions and our dedication to client satisfaction. The project began in the spring of 2024 and is currently on schedule for commissioning in the summer of 2025. NET PowerThe NET Power project is a ground-breaking utility-scale gas-fired plant, poised to become the world’s first to deliver near-zero emissions at commercial scale. At the beginning of 2025, the Zachry team working on the project initiated a Value Engineering and Cost Savings Initiative. This effort focused on facility requirements, identifying potential cost reduction opportunities, and critically examining the current design and execution plan to find improvements that could lower the project’s total installed cost. In collaboration with NET Power, a significant number of ideas were generated, resulting in substantial cost savings. These findings are currently being utilized to update the project’s cost estimate. Our 10-Year Strategic Plan: OverviewAt Zachry Group, it’s important for us to ‘Think Long Term’ and ensure the decisions we make today will create a better tomorrow. The health of our business is highly determined by strategic planning and well-defined goals. Each business developed a strategy specific to its capabilities and needs. Sitting on top of each business line strategy, we have an overarching plan which essentially focuses on: • Building a healthy, high-return, risk-balanced portfolio of U.S.-focused businesses • Positioning and entering emerging markets for future growth and diversification• Creating value across businesses such that Zachry is well-positioned as a preferred partnerThese key initiatives will be guided and measured by three ‘Pillars of Success’:• Performance• Succession• TransparencyOur strategic plan and new operating model will help us build and enhance strong capabilities that are solution-oriented and structured to support the health of each of our Business Units*, elevate critical Enabling Functions**, and align each business to be able to deliver the financial results expected of it. * Business Units: EPC Group (Projects), Engineering Group, Services Group ** Enabling Functions: Finance Group, Legal Group, Enterprise ServicesSummer 2025 ZACHRY CONNECTIONS 5 ZACHRY ENGINEERINGBlue Methanol ProjectThe Houston engineering team has successfully completed Phase I of the FEED Validation effort for a large-scale grassroots low-carbon methanol facility to be constructed in Lake Charles, LA. This phase involved reviewing the finalized FEED package to evaluate the project’s viability. Phase I was completed at the end of May 2025, with a Phase II reFEED targeted for late June. The project aims to produce 10,000 metric tonnes per day (MTPD) of methanol from natural gas. The facility will consist of two methanol trains, each with a capacity of 5,000 MTPD. Carbon dioxide generated from the process will be captured, purified, compressed, and transported off-site via pipeline for sequestration. Once completed, the facility will be the fifth-largest methanol plant globally. Zachry Group has been awarded the FEED/EPC contract for a large-scale biomass energy project featuring carbon capture and sequestration (CCS), which includes carbon dioxide removal (CDR) and hydrogen production. Summer 2025 ZACHRY CONNECTIONS 76ZACHRY CONNECTIONS Summer 2025 ZACHRY NUCLEAR ENGINEERINGNatura Resources (ACU) In August 2023, Zachry Nuclear Engineering (ZNE) was awarded an Engineering Services Agreement to complete the Detailed Design Engineering (DDE) for Natura Resources’ first Molten Salt Reactor (MSR) system. ZNE began the project by reviewing and finalizing the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) report and then continuing the development of the Detailed Design in support of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) approval of the design for construction and eventual operation. In September 2024, as a result of ZNE’s FEED and Detailed Design efforts, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued a construction permit for the deployment of Natura Resources’ MSR-1 system at Abilene Christian University (ACU). This permit is significant as it is the first construction permit for a liquid-fueled advanced reactor and only the second permit issued for any advanced reactor by the NRC. ZNE is expected to complete the Detailed Engineering and Design of the Natura MSR-1 by mid-July 2025, allowing for the submission of the design to the NRC as part of an Operating License Application. Work will continue on the Design in preparation for transitioning to an EPC contract sometime in late 2025. Thank you to everyone whose hard work and dedication made this historic achievement possible. Expanding our EPC Capabilities with ASME Nuclear CertificationsZachry Group is proud to announce the addition of six ASME Nuclear certifications to its comprehensive Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services. Our successful nuclear business units, including Numerical Advisory Solutions and Zachry Nuclear Engineering, have been supporting the nuclear industry for over 50 years. In response to the growing demand for new nuclear plant projects, Zachry has expanded its offerings by establishing an ASME Section III certified Nuclear Engineering and Construction program.Zachry has received approval from ASME for the following certifications: N, NPT, NA, NS, G, and GC. Notably, Zachry is the first and only company globally to be certified by ASME for the design, machining, finishing, assembly, and certification of nonmetallic core components made from graphite and ceramics, often used in Gen IV Nuclear Reactors. Additionally, we are now one of only two companies in the United States to hold an ASME certification for the design, construction, and certification of concrete containments. These advanced ASME certifications allow us to undertake the design and construction of all new Nuclear Power Plants being considered. With a track record spanning over 100 years of successful mega projects and our unique nuclear certifications, Zachry Group remains a leading contender in the global EPC power market and is an emerging leader in the engineering and construction of Advanced Nuclear Power Plants.Golden Triangle Polymers ProjectLocated in Orange County, TX, the Golden Triangle Polymers Project (GTP) is reaching peak operations. This world-scale integrated polymers facility consists of a 2,080 KTA ethane cracker and two 1,000 KTA high-density polyethylene units. Zachry Group is proud to be a primary EPC contractor for this project, partnering in joint ventures with DL USA, Inc. (“ZDJV”) for inside battery limits (ISBL), and with Burns & McDonnell (“BMZ”) for outside battery limits (OSBL). GTP is a project of marvel due to its size and scale, advanced HDPE production technology, and pivotal implementation of strategic international supply sourcing. Thousands of skilled craft professionals have been working daily to bring this world-scale facility to life.At ISBL, you will see amazing structures up to 300 feet tall, installation of over 300,000 feet of linear pipe, 1,600,000 linear feet of cable, 35,000 cubic yards of concrete, 18 pipe rack modules, and structural steel weighting over 12,000 tons (the equivalent weight of 300 fully loaded 18-wheelers)! As we draw closer to project completion, ISBL will reach peak employment this summer with approximately 1,700 employees working onsite and will be 70% complete. At OSBL, the primary scope of work includes installing the balance of the plant’s utilities and powering the adjacent ethane cracker and other facilities at ISBL. The OSBL site contains 359,000 feet of linear pipe, 3,300,000 linear feet of cable, 82,000 cubic yards of concrete, 95 pipe rack modules, and 8,000 tons of structural steel. This summer, OSBL will peak at 2,800 employees and be approximately 75% complete. What truly sets us apart at GTP, both ISBL and OSBL, are the employees who bring the project to life and foster a thriving culture. Between Heart of Zachry ceremonies, Women in Construction recognitions, Employee Giving campaigns for United Way, and Family Days, GTP offers so much more than a jobsite to work at— it’s a place of passion and celebration. Expected start-up of the facility is 2026, and upon its completion it will produce 2,080 kilotons of ethane and 2,000 kilotons of polyethylene per year! GTP is more than just a massive construction undertaking; it’s a testament to perseverance, innovation, and the power of dedicated people. As we prepare the project for mobilization, ready to produce a staggering amount of polyethylene annually, we proudly reflect on our integral role in this achievement. We’ve not only helped build a world-scale HDPE plant, but we’ve also fostered a vibrant culture, demonstrating that even the largest projects are ultimately defined by the commitment of the individuals who bring them to fruition. The Golden Triangle Polymers Project - Orange, TexasPhoto/Nick Grancharoff PROJECTS6 ZACHRY CONNECTIONS Summer 2025

Meaningful and productive time like this is invaluable for a broader understanding of the incredible capabilities and talent available across Zachry, and how we can harness these strengths for the benefit of each other and our customers. Thanks to everyone who contributed to making this retreat a success! SERVICES8 ZACHRY CONNECTIONS Summer 2025Zachry is launching a new Rewards & Recognition platform for Service Awards. From engineering and field installation to project planning and supplier engagement, the Quality team works in close coordination with every func-tion to uphold our commitment to safely deliver quality work. This year, the team introduced HERO (Honoring Excellence & Remarkable Outcomes), a newly rebranded recognition program that celebrates individuals who go beyond expectations to deliver outstanding results. Why?If I had to choose one that truly stands out, it would be CPChem Cedar Bayou. That job was a springboard for my career. The challenges I faced and the responsibilities I took on helped shape the way I approach my work to this day. I left with skills, knowl-edge, and confidence that I still carry with me, and Cedar played a major role in preparing me for the next steps in my journey.Reflecting on your life and career, what advice would you give to your younger self or to someone who is just starting their career at Zachry?Embrace every challenge as an opportunity to grow. Don’t shy away from tasks that push you outside your comfort zone—even if there’s no immediate reward. Growth often comes from the uncomfortable moments, and the payoff will come in time. Always strive to do better, stay curious, and keep improving. The effort you put in today will shape the opportunities you have tomorrow. What legacy do you hope to leave? I hope to be remembered as someone who helped others grow in their careers. I want my legacy to be about leadership through guidance—being someone who took the time to mentor, support, and point others in the right direction on their path. If I’ve helped even a few people realize their potential and achieve their goals, then I’ll consider that a legacy worth leaving. When thinking about What’s Most Important, which value do you think has resonated with you most during your time at Zachry? The value that resonates with me most is “Make a Positive Impact.” Throughout my time at Zachry, I’ve had the privilege of working with incredible leaders who took the time to invest in me, guide me, and help me grow. Their impact shaped my career, and I’ve always felt a responsibility to pass that on.What brought you to Zachry, and what has kept you here? What brought me to Zachry was family. My father was a site manager on the ExxonMobil Bay Project at the time, and the week before high school graduation, he told me it was time to decide—either go to college or go to work. That Friday, I hired in with Zachry as a Pipefitter Helper. Sunday after-noon, I walked across the stage at graduation, and by Monday morning, I was sitting in new hire orientation. What’s kept me here is the opportunity to grow, the pride in the work we do, and the people I’ve had the privilege of working alongside. Zachry gave me a path, a purpose, and a place to build a career I’m proud of.How would you describe your time and journey here at Zachry Group?I have been given opportunities and challenges that pushed me beyond my job description. I embraced each one, knowing that every new task was a chance to learn and grow. Over the years, those experiences shaped my skills, broadened my perspective, and helped me advance in my career. The most rewarding part of my journey has been the ability to give back—sharing what I’ve learned and helping others grow in their own paths. Zachry is a place where people are valued, where hard work is recognized, and where you’re encouraged to become the best version of yourself. How would you describe Zachry Group to a prospective employee?Zachry is a great, family-owned company that truly values its people. There are countless opportunities across the organization, and there’s a place for everyone to grow and succeed. If you’re willing to put in the work, stay committed, and take ownership of your development, Zachry will support you every step of the way. It’s a company where you can build a long, fulfilling career. Living by our values, executing our vision — these are the employees we recognize in the Employee Connection.
