Participants’ home base will be in our Game Room where they’llhave access to Ping Pong, Pool, Foosball, Card Games, Arts &Crafts, and Board Games.Throughout the afternoon, participants will also have opportunitiesto utilize our Gymnasium and Multipurpose Room, as well as spendoutside time in Fuller Park (right outside the rec center!)This program is run by Recreation Assistants and supervised by aRecreation Specialist. Additional Afternoon ProgramsMiddle School PassEsports PassEsports Pass is availableto youth ages 8-14.Participants have accessto our Esports Room onTuesdays and Thursdaysfrom 3-5:30pm. Thisroom is equipped withWii, XBox, PC, VR, andNintendo Switch, and issupervised by RecreationAssistants. Snack isprovided each day. Grades 6-8A middle school pass givesyouth access to the middleschool lounge at the RecCenter on M,W,F from3:45pm-6pm. The lounge issupervised by recreationassistants and offers a safespace for youth to hang out.Participants will also havescheduled time and activitiesthat will take place in thegym, game room, and Esportsroom. Snack is provided eachday.Cost: $100 for the school year*A Middle School Pass also gives youthfree access to open gym time at the RecCenter. Open gym schedules will bepassed out to participants. Esports has skyrocketedin popularity, and we’re thrilled to offer it hereat the rec!Our programming includes tournamentnights, drop-in hours, and our Esports Pass. We are excited to announce that we’repartnering with the Keene State CollegeEsports Team this year! SPECIAL EVENTSKeene Parks & Recreation offers various specialevents throughout the school year and duringvacation weeks. Most events require pre-registrationand space is limited.
