Context of the seminarThe agronomy brings together all the sciences andtechniques applied to the development of ecosystemsand the control of the biological cycle by humans. Facedwith the need to feed the population while respecting theplanet and its resources, agronomy is working to developknowledge for sustainable agriculture. Sustainableagronomy is working to apply the principles of sustainabledevelopment to agriculture to become agro-ecology. Itspurpose now is to make knowledge and good practicesavailable to the agricultural world to initiate a profoundtransformation of the current agricultural system. Thisessentially involves a return to modernized ancestralagriculture. It would take into account resources via theunderstanding of the land, biodiversity and the adoption ofmethods of sustainable culture
