WSO’S FUTURE FUNDThe WSO’s Future Fund is an endowment trust where gifts are invested and restricted in perpetuity to support WSO operations for seasons to come. The Future Fund is currently valued at just over $5 million with a goal to reach $10 million in order to create a sustainable source of income. In 2023-2024, revenue from this fund contributed approximately $146,000 to annual operations.The WSO future funds are managed by the Ontario Arts Foundation and the Windsor Essex Community Foundation.43Main stage concerts performed on an annual basis.15,000Patrons attend WSO performances on average, each year.10,000Students experience WSO at the Capitol Theater each year.5Free summer concerts in city and county each year.1,385Seniors saw the WSO perform at their retire-ment home, senior centre, or while in hospital.“The WSO fullls a unique and important role in our community, providing entertainment, education, and enrichment.
