BUSINESS TRENDSNew York, NY – A groundbreakingstudy released today reveals promisinginsights into consumer behavior,indicating that a majority of Americansare willing to pay a premium for productsand services from Black-owned businessesto help reduce the racial wealth gap in theU.S. Conducted by the Fund for SocialEquity (FSE), the research also exploresconsumer interest in a seal certifyingBlack-owned and operated businesses.The Fund for Social Equity (FSE), a newnonprofit organization, has launched thisinitiative to address the widening racialwealth gap between Black and whiteAmericans. As the racial wealth gapreaches alarming levels, with Blackhouseholds having a median wealth of$44,890 compared to $285,010 for whitehouseholds, the need for action has neverbeen more urgent.According to the research, nearly half ofall Americans surveyed expressed awillingness to purchase products orservices at a premium price if they wereidentified as Black-owned.
