Take your best shot at dunking some of Elkford’s most recognizable faces! Local leaders and community celebrities will be braving the tank to raise funds for Angel Flight. Also joining in the fun will be our local bylaw ofcer and his trustee sidekick, Luna, Wild Developments Ltd., RDEK FireSmart Coordinator, WildSafeBC and maybe a few other surprise guests. The ETA and the ESS students have built a brand new hiking trail in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle trail network this spring. Meet at the far end of the Esso parking lot for a 10 a.m. departure. The hike will be approximately 5 km/2 hr return and has a moderate elevation gain on loose/uneven ground. Brink a water bottle, snack, hat and sturdy footwear. All ages welcome. 34. ELKFORD LIONS CLUB 4TH ANNUAL SHOW & SHINE * (10 A.M. TO 4 P.M.)Hosted by: The 43s, Sponsored by: Elkford Lions Club. Entry fee: $20. Simply show up between 10 a.m. and noon to register. Prizes offered. Spectators and car enthusiasts free to view: come and browse the lineup of wheels—both antique and modern vehicles ll the area.
