They set out from their home and wandered down the street with their parents permission of course But there was no trace of the stars not even a clue or a lead The stars are all gone So we set out on a mission From a distance their wise friend Zeynah appeared and came towards them two Why are you kids out so late Is there something lost to you Would you like to join us on our little expedition Of course I ll look with you I might just know where they ve gone Follow me and I ll show you but hurry up before it s dawn

The three of them walked through the city to the suburbs and beyond Where are you taking us The stars can t be this far gone The kids asked They aren t gone at all look up said Zeynah as they arrived at the desert And there they found the stars as twinkly and bright as ever

The kids stared in wonder But how could this be Was something hiding them Or was it our eyes that couldn t see They weren t hiding and your eyes weren t playing tricks Zeynah explained you see the stars are just like candlesticks In a bright room the candlelight gets outshined its glow dwindles w he t u B n the room is da rk you c an see it clearly like n from o c a e ab all angles
