SEMPA is accepting applications for the up-coming 2021-2022 Board of Director’s election. There are five (5) seats open: President-Elect, Vice President, Secretary-Treasurer and two (2) Director at Large positions. Candidates may self-nominate or be nominated by another Fellow SEMPA member in good standing. If another Fellow member nominates a candidate, the nominee must complete and submit the required submission packet by the deadline in order to be considered for the slate. Several 20-minute sessions weregiven on topics ranging from emergency medicine core training to professionalissues. There was also a virtual scavenger hunt and a post-rounds happy hournetworking sessions. The SEMPA Advocacy Committee recently developed a new set of goals and priorities that the committee will be working on. The committee wants to ensure that you as a member know that theorganization is here to conduct advocacy efforts to support you and yourpractice of emergency medicine.
