Borah students have performed well in the CML competition Five years ago a Borah math student also had a remarkable result by scoring a perfect ten on round one of the CML competition Nathan King Borah High School Senior Evan Magnusson Borah High School Junior Alex Rooney Borah High School Junior Jacob Wymer Borah High School Senior Boise High Raises Funds to Fight Cancer The Boise High Girls Basketball is pleased to announce the success of their 8th Annual Pink Zone event on January 22nd In addition to making the gym festively pink the program achieved a very impressive goal with the money they raised for the Boise chapter of the Susan G Komen Foundation In total this year s group raised 2 270 which smashes their previous best of 1 571 They wish to sincerely thank all who bought tickets and otherwise supported this yearly event The Lady Braves also want to thank Kyle Green of The Idaho Statesman who covered the event with an excellent video segment here Capital High School DECA Club Recognized Capital High School s Distributive Education Club of America DECA has been recognized by the national organization for recruiting new members to the school s DECA club Capital High School also earned a 2016 Chapter Certification as being a DECA School based Enterprise which means the school s DECA club wrote a project detailing how its business adheres to select model business standards DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing finance hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe Timberline High Drama Club Recognized The Women s and Children s Alliance WCA is recognizing the Timberline High Drama Department for presenting WCA with a special donation Members of Timberline s Drama Squad recently raised 400 in WCA s annual fundraiser performance known as the Holiday Coffee House A coffee house is an improvisation show in a coffee house like setting that is completely run by the students Click here to learn more Understanding the 60 Goal In his latest Data Points blog Boise School District Superintendent Dr Don Coberly takes an in depth
