#6732143 #6732341 #6732241Rich, rustic, authentic. There are wines for restrained, erudite conversations and then there are wines for rollicking good times. Buck Shack is the latter. Nestled deep in our vineyards stood a dilapidated 100-year-old skinning shed called “Ye Old Buck Shack.”We loved its rugged beauty and the history of this old building, so we restored it. Inspired by everything the Buck Shack represented, we created a wine that captured the authenticity and wildness of Lake County—wines that go hand-in-handwith good food and bad judgment.
#8620148 #8620048Bright, dedicated, sensible.Carefully selected by our winemaking team and produced from premium vineyard blocks, only truly special wines are worthy of being part of the Shannon Reserve Collection. These wines exemplify our commitment to sustainable farming and the true varietal character that comes from meticulous attention to detail. Vineyards for these wines are farmed using our “Ovis Cycle” methodology which integrates sheep as a means to control weeds, naturally fertilize the vines and provide wool and protein to our families.

#6831440Intense, polished, impressive.Inspired by the rugged beauty of Lake County, we established Shannon Family of Wines with the goal to preserve this land for generations to come. As such, we incorporated sustainable farming practices which include our trusty flock of sheep. Ovis is Latin for sheep, and this special small lot collection of wine pays homage to the wooly caretakers that ensure our vineyards thrive while sustaining the natural ecosystem. Our Ovis wines are extraordinary—the perfect reflection of nature in balance. We offer them to you with pride.
