Waterlefe Artists Guild February 2021 ONLINE EXHIBIT presenting artist Roxanne Skinner
Roxanne Skinner Watercolors hannobun@gmail.com I have always been creative but never had time to focus on any kind of art until after I retired in early 2001. This gave me a fair amount of private time until my husband retired a year later and we started traveling. Some of the pieces you see here are from various locations around the globe. Some of them were painted in “plein air" on location, others needed to wait till we returned to the U.S. Watercolor is what I have always done from the time I was 6 years old and I just stayed with it and appreciate it more now than I did 70 years ago. I love what you can do with the media. And many times, the finished product surprises me as well! What fun!
