If you specify ADA signs for your projects, we want you to take a look at our new product, thermoformed signs produced right here in Lakewood by our company, ADA Sign Products.

We call it in the "Holy Grail" of ADA sign fabrication. This is a true one-piece sign, unlike photopolymer, which disintegrates when exposed to moisture, sand-carved which can delaminate in the sun, painted metal where surface paint can wear or be scratched off, or any type of sign with characters or braille beads than can be removed. A mold is used to form plastic into one piece non-glare sign, using extreme presure and heat, complete with raised text and braille. Rounded profiles and domed braille with uniform heights are no problem. All color and decoration can be easily applied to the second surface, so it can't be scratched off or wear off. 

 

Why thermoforming?

One big advantage of thermoformed signs on clear acrylic, is that all the color and decoration can be added to the second surface of the sign plaque.

 

Nothing can be scratched off, or wear off. The surface is non-glare, and impervious to moisture and sun damage.

ADA PermaSign™

ADA InvisiTouch™ is a thermoformed sign that is designed to hide the tactile graphics within a decorative area of the sign. The message is repeated visually on the same sign.
