CommonSpirit Health Welcomes Wright L Lassiter III as New CEO Wright L Lassiter III officially joined CommonSpirit Health as CEO on Aug 1 He succeeded Lloyd Dean who retired Wright brings 30 years of experience working in large health systems most recently as CEO at Henry Ford Health in Michigan There he led Henry Ford through the COVID 19 pandemic expanded services grew revenue and earned recognition for the system s focus on employee well being and a commitment to diversity equity inclusion and social justice We welcome him to our health care ministry Physicians in the News We d like to thank and recognize the following physicians who were recently featured in local media stories Mark Liker MD Neurosurgery shared tips on ways to improve brain health and the importance of taking preventive measures to minimize the risk of diseases affecting the brain in the online publication Eat This Not That Suhail Salem MD Gastroenterology was featured on Good Day LA Fox Channel 11 News speaking about Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker s recent diagnosis of acute pancreatitis and the risk factors for developing this painful condition Mitali Wadekar MD Child Psychiatry was featured on NBC Channel 4 News in a story about the anxieties faced by many students as they return to school and the warning signs that parents should look out for Practice Greenhealth Award It is with great pleasure to announce that Northridge Hospital has received the 2022 Partner for Change Award from Practice Greenhealth We thank our physicians for helping further our ongoing commitment to improving our environmental performance and ensuring sustainability remains an integral part of our hospital s operations and overall culture 2 Northridge Hospital Medical Dialogue
