MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENTCONSULTINGVRX’s proven capabilities address diverse, dynamic needs and provide sound recommendations for aging infrastructure. VRX’s Maintenance Managers play a vital role in preserving and extending the life of the North Texas Toll Authority’s (NTTA) assets – roadways, structures, facilities, buildings, and properties. They do this by establishing maintenance processes and procedures and enforcing adherence to current design standards. VRX provides comprehensive aviation-related services while ensuring the projects we oversee do not affect airport operations. VRX, Inc. provides Program Management (PM) and Construction Management (CM) services to the majority of our aviation clients. Our understanding of complex aviation projects and systems makes VRX ideally suited to meet the needs of airport and air carrier clients. With all projects on active airports, VRX uses meticulous care and is highly mindful of the requirements and importance of coordinating specic work times with airport ofcials and operations to prevent negative impacts to live operations.As an extension of staff, we are responsible for all aspects of program management, including quality control; cost control; scheduling; evaluating constructability; coordination with individual airlines and airport system operations; review of the nal guaranteed maximum price; and negotiation of change orders. LIGHTRAIL SERVICESVRX, Inc. provides extensive services for light rail clients.One of our most important roles is system integration management, in which VRX manages engineering professionals who test new light rail systems and certify them as safe for passengers. This work entails reviewing the contractor’s testing and commissioning plans to ensure compliance with a project’s operational requirements and plans. We then implement, test, carefully document, and maintain agency-wide solutions for the entire light rail system during the commissioning process.We also are responsible for all aspects of program management, including design coordination; quality control; cost control; scheduling; safety; coordination with light rail system operations; coordination with stakeholders including partner agencies; and enforcing local and federal codes as they apply to railway installation. In addition, VRX engineers have decades of experience providing geometrical layout, design, analysis, plan production for concrete and steel rail structures, and construction-phase support for various rail agencies.VRX’s highly qualied inspectors and engineers provide comprehensive structural inspection for all types of bridges and sign structures.
