Reaching the Unreached History of My Work in the 10 40 Window Asia the Middle East For the past two years I have been serving in the 10 40 Window where most of the world s population lives yet are considered totally unreached with the Gospel in the Middle East and Eastern Asia I work to reach college students who have never had the opportunity to hear the Gospel There are millions of students who live in difficult and dangerous locations on college campuses where no Gospel presence exists who do not even know the name of Jesus These are the places I want to be These are the students that my heart breaks for These are the students I introduce to Jesus After the worsening of the pandemic I was forced to leave East Asia and step into the Lord s sovereign direction for our ministry which has proved to be more unique than I could have ever imagined Since that moment me and the team of 10 missionaries that I lead have successfully pioneered campus ministry movements in the Middle East and Southeast Asia where we are currently serving During our work in these two locations we have introduced countless students to Jesus and have seen Muslim and Buddhist background students become followers of Christ I work to help these students raise up movements on their own campuses so that every student has the opportunity to hear the name of Jesus I teach these students to share the Gospel on their campuses walk with them as they learn to become followers of Christ connect them to local churches and believers to strengthen their Christ centered community and embolden them to enter into the Great Commission wherever they are after graduation as lifelong leaders and laborers for the Kingdom UCC is having a direct and eternal impact on reaching college students with the Gospel in some of the most unreached places in the world through our ministry I am so thankful for UCC and praise God for my church family I could not be doing what I am doing without your prayers and support Charlie Gross

Without the closing of East Asia due to Covid 19 and the displacement of my team the fruitful college ministry movements my team has been able to pioneer in Northern Iraq and South East Asia would not exist I find this strangely encouraging in the midst of all of the chaos God is working powerfully in the movement and displacement of his people in ministry for the advancement of His Kingdom Over the past two years we have seen students from Muslim and Buddhist backgrounds become followers of Jesus The support that my team has been able to provide to the local and native missional focused believers in these locations has been integral and has acted as a catalyst for Gospel sharing movements to students who are the first in their family line to ever hear the good news of Jesus Even though East Asia means more to me than I can explain the relationships I have built there for the Kingdom are deep and being away from East Asia is painful to think about even till this day I praise God for how He has brought good from these circumstances and salvation to students in other nations His sovereign sending and direction for our ministry has forever deepened my trust in Him and has brought me so much thankfulness To God be all the glory Charlie Gross Partner in Asia
As we all start to see what life looks like in this new season we are seeing a great interest in our country about Jesus During our Christmas outreaches we had over 600 visitors hear the story of Jesus birth for the first time Please pray as we follow up with all the visitors that came and the seeds that were planted It has been beautiful to see as people become more and more discontent with their government economy and life in general they are turning to the church for answers and finding hope in Jesus Just last week I talked to one of our church leaders who said the church is seeing multiple times a day every day people coming in who are curious about Christianity and about Jesus Our family is also having more and more opportunities with our neighbors friends and classmates than ever before Please pray that the believers in our country will be serious about being disciples and making disciples Pray with us that more Muslims will come to faith in Christ this year than ever before and that God will send more workers on the field to gather the harvest Thank you for your constant prayers support and encouragement We are eternally grateful and so are the people who now know of the hope there is in Jesus Partners in Eastern Europe
Craig and Merschon Hutson As secularization spreads Christians are enjoying less agreement with the cultures around us This doesn t just make for really tough mission soil it can feel just plain lonely and scary trying to live out our own faith Over the last several years we have come to believe with increasing conviction that care for creation presents a unique connection between our Christian faith and the post Christian culture in which we live Our neighbors may not yet sense a need to consider our convictions about Jesus but we pray that God will use our business as a natural entry point for relationships and as the starting point for Gospel filled partnership for His Kingdom and glory Craig and Merschon Hutson Partners in Ireland

Daniel and Holly Jarchow God has blessed Sojourn so much this year We ve seemingly connected with all the right students ones from all kinds of spiritual backgrounds who are at all different places in their faith journeys We ve also had students from 7 different nations It s a beautiful thing to see all of them come together in their commitment to pursue God and love one another Only Jesus could create that Holly and I feel incredibly blessed to have preserved through a couple years of uncertainty with quarantine to enter into a time of fruitfulness and joy It s been a huge step forward for our little piece of God s kingdom at the University of Washington Daniel and Holly Jarchow Daniel Jarchow University of Washington

Through UCC s partnership with MRN God has not only reached hundreds of Muslim background people in Greece and North Africa but new disciples have taking the Gospel to nine other countries in Europe Though the Mediterranean Rim Initiative God is reclaiming people who have an no access to Jesus for over 1400 years and help people who have been traumatized by terrorism revolution war tribal conflict and refugees status and helping them find life purpose and joy in Jesus Dan Bouchelle President Mission Resource Network
Three Foundations for UCC s Missions Effort Ireland Asia and Eastern Europe UCC has a long history and commitment to sharing the gospel around the world We are dedicated to continuing to partner with God in mission points around the globe Craig and Merschon Hutson in Dublin Ireland 49 500 Asia 24 000 Eastern Europe 10 000 Mediterranean Rim The gospel is spreading among refugees from Muslim countries It is a new exciting movement of God making disciples in places where faith in Christ has barely existed for over a thousand years Mission Resource Network 10 000 Next Initiative Our vision is to reach the next generation with the Good News train the next generation of leaders and plant the next generation of churches ministries Our efforts to reach the next generation start at the University of Alabama As a church that was planted to reach students reaching the next generation has been in our DNA from the beginning In order to reach new people in new places we will need to plant new churches and new ministries Starting new things in university settings is in our DNA
In addition to reaching the next generation we want to train the next generation of missional leaders Reach 34 500 Daniel and Holly Sullivan Jarchow Univ of Washington 14 400 Kairos Church Planting 10 000 Next Apprenticeship 2 500 NEXT is a ministry apprenticeship that lasts two school years and includes ministry experience campus ministry church leadership as well as graduate level biblical education NEXT is designed to help train the next generation of missional leaders To begin fall 2022 Youth Summer Mission Trip 5 000 Total Mission Budget for 2022 164 930 Stretch Budget A missional church is one that prepares and sends their own on mission Our partners in Asia Eastern Europe and the University of Washington are ministers who have grown up at UCC Now God is calling two more to go Maggie Tanski grew up at UCC and Libby Algren Reach student at UA have the desire to join our partners in Eastern Europe for two year internships They plan to leave in the summer of 2022 Support for both of them is 30 000 May we answer God s calling to send our own in their passion and desiew to serve in Eastern Europe Stretch Goal 194 930
