Test Preparation Lower Middle ISEE Executive Functioning Executive functioning skills are cognitive strengths that build habits and help us manage our lives in order to be successful This course provides students with tips and strategies to keep themselves organized while identifying personal roadblocks building strong study habits and reducing homework frustrations and procrastination We will explore how to improve note taking memory retention and time management PERFECT FOR STUDENTS GRADES 6 8 TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS 10AM 11AM 7 20 8 12 SMALL GROUP 350 ONLINE OR IN PERSON Why Prepare for the ISEE If your child is planning on attending a private school he or she may need to take an entrance exam Our intensive all encompassing program structure will immensely improve your child s performance on these exams and prepare him or her for the academic challenges of middle school and beyond We work with each student on an individual basis to ensure excellence while maintaining an environment that is both intellectually stimulating and fun We begin with a full length practice test to gauge your child s areas of strength and areas of need From there we schedule an intensive week long program that focuses on strategy use Students take notes practice strategy application and complete practice work both inside and outside of class We then schedule 1 1 sessions generally completed in the fall winter to review any needed strategies teach concepts and work on timing and pacing At the culmination of the program students will take a second practice test to demonstrate their improvement Our Lower Middle ISEE Program Includes Pre assessment on either the lower or middle ISEE or SSAT This practice test serves as a baseline to determine your child s strengths and areas of need This full length test will be held on Saturday May 15th from 9am 11 30am If your child cannot make the exam on that day an alternative practice exam will be held on Saturday May 22nd from 9 00am 11 30pm If you have a scheduling conflict for both of the above days and times you may opt to give the exam at home Two parent teacher student conferences to go over the results of your child s pre and post assessment tests and to determine your child s exam goals Group instruction no more than 6 students per group that includes fifteen hours of intensive test prep strategies Choose ONE of the following 6 146 18 6 21 6 25 7 12 7 16 9am 12pm A workbook of practice test problems specific to your child s areas of need to be completed throughout the summer We grade these workbooks and offer specific feedback Fifteen sessions of one on one instruction to be scheduled throughout the fall A second practice test to be held in November All materials used throughout the program PROGRAM FEE 2 695 online or in person

ACT SAT Preparation AP Courses Test Prep ACT SAT Pre assessment practice test on either the ACT or SAT This practice test serves as a baseline to determine your child s strengths and areas of need Two parent teacher student conferences to go over the results Group instruction no more than 6 students per group that includes fifteen hours of intensive test prep strategies Choose from ONE of the sessions below 6 21 6 25 9am 12pm online only 7 12 7 16 11am 2pm in person only As many mini practice tests as needed these are 1 5 hour exams in critical reading writing or math throughout the end of 2021 Twelve sessions of one on one instruction to be scheduled throughout the fall winter depending on the official test date s you have chosen A second practice test used to measure progress A flat rate fee for additional sessions needed in either SAT or ACT after the program is complete 1 1 test preparation sessions are discounted to 75 hour a HUGE savings PER class until the student s final exam date PROGRAM FEE 2 795 online or in person
