Compass +Bespoke Tile CreationProduct: A re-interpretation of the original paver design in a glazed hexagon tile suitable forlight commercial restaurant applications and easy to maintain.Design: Referencing the restaurant brand color palette. we sketched a ooring designconcept that was colorful and fun to share with the client.Execution: We created an outline of the original Gaudi paver relief tile in Adobe Illustrator to produce the line drawing objects. We then assigned colors to each object using the custom Paintbox swatch library for Illustrator (provided by Tilehaus).About: We are a hospitality design rm specializing in creating an exceptionalcustomer experience.Assignment: Create an identity for a seafood restaurant client rebranding project with anautical theme.Inspiration: We based our design on Gaudi's fascinating pavers (from the Passeig de Gracia in Barcelona) which form a sea-life tessellation in relief.10 steps to create your bespoke tile (a case study)

Pre-production: We submitted our tile design as a PDF le with a preliminary purchase order form to be reviewed and approved by the Customer Support team at Tilehaus.Strike-offs: We ordered a strike-off sample for our review and nal client approval.Production: The purchase order included the approved artwork and the quantities needed for each tile design, including the customary overage amount.Fulllment: Our client received the production order for the bespoke tile design within the quoted leadtime, and the tile installation was completed on schedule.
