A side from allergy season and Arkansas’ regular threat of tornadic weather around this time, I’m so glad spring is here! I personally have had enough of cold weather! Spring is here… daylight saving time is over…and I’m alive to see it. And so are you. That’s dope, huh?! In this issue, I decided to do something that I think is fairly new in Arkansas – or at least not common enough outside of church circles – and that is to recognize Black pastors. I am the daughter of an evangelist and a preacher. I am the granddaughter of a Bishop, First Lady/Missionary, deacon, and a mother of the church. I am a product of the COGIC and Baptist denomination, with a side of Pentecostal. I grew up around “church folks” impacting lives every day, but rarely ever heard of them celebrated publically unless it was during the Pastor & First Lady’s Anniversary or a church event. I don’t know if this is intentional or not, but they say if you want to see change, be the change. Often pastors get a bad rap, are only seen in a negative light, or are not regarded altogether, but some good pastors are doing good things out there. Hopefully, this issue will initiate some change. I dedicate this issue to my grandparents. Thank you for the exposure, and for setting an example and a foundation for knowing God. I also dedicate this issue to Apostle Dr. Lawrence E. Braggs. When I was still cooking up the idea for this magazine many years ago, I asked him if he would be in it. He said yes, with no hesitation. Years later – surely forgetting that conversation – he prophesied that this magazine would exist at a moment when I was experiencing inner turmoil about it. I am truly thankful for him and his dedication to the call on his life. You all are truly missed and appreciated. You will find many inspirational gems in this issue, including churches that may strike the interest of someone looking for a church home. I hope it blesses you abundantly. Founder & Editor-in-Chief
