As I write this review we are back in beautifulBorneo visiting this magnificent country and allit has to offer. In October 2022 myself and my son (aged 5 attime) booked this same incredible adventureand we literally had the time of our lives INCREDIBLE GUIDESThe trip is so well planned with incredibleguides throughout. My little boy Jamie lovesanimals so throughout this trip he was in hisabsolute element and we travelled with such alovely group of people (14 in total) which madeour adventure all the more special Seeing the orangutans was the absolutehighlight of the trip, but each day offeredsomething special - and our 4 day beachextension at the Shangri-La at the end was justpure heaven, especially the food and tribalentertainment - and the perfect finale to themost magical trip.ECO FRIENDLYIf you are someone who loves doing their partfor conservation, this was a really eco friendlytrip, we visited rehabilitation centres to learn more about the work they do, as well aslearning so much about the rainforests - andhow they are being destroyed for palm oil.
