About the LeagueSince 1919, Assistance League® of Los Angeles has mobilized tens of thousands of member volunteers to raise funds and provide critical need services to children and young adults experiencing homelessness, foster care, and extreme poverty. Today the League helps more than 22,000 children every year through our five programs that provide clothing, blankets, grooming products, books, school supplies, arts enrichment, and education opportunities. Our programs bring hope, joy, self-esteem, and increased scholastic engagement to the children and young adults we serve.

Our AskJoin forces with Assistance League ® of Los Angeles for a night of laughter and giving back at our upcoming comedy extravaganza, "The Really Big Shoe." This event will support OPERATION SCHOOL BELL's (OSB) ambitious goal of providing 10,000 pairs of shoes to children in need. By sponsoring "The Really Big Shoe," you'll provide brand-new shoes to deserving children. Together, we can make a tangible dierence in the lives of these deserving children and empower them to thrive academically and beyond.The evening promises an unforgeable blend of entertainment and philanthropy. Guests will enjoy a lively silent auction, a no-host bar, and make wishes come true on our special WISH board. The highlight of the evening will be the side-spliing comedy show.We invite you to help us spread joy, laughter, and hope to those who need it most. The Comedian Lineup Dustin Chafin is a Texan-born, NYC-raised comedian. Appearances on HBO Crashing, Showtime Comedy Showcase. Released a new Drybar comedy special. Two albums on Sirius XM. He is on the Be Funny Tour with Nate Bargatze and headlining nationwide. Dustin is a killer improv and crowd-work comedian infusing jokes and stories about dumb things we are addicted to and themes like flying with your dog.
