Marasy Herndon Hello Optima Family o t g n i t Get w you kno My name is Marasy you probably pronounced it wrong Lol I am originally from Sudan in Africa but moved to the United States when I was 5 years old When I came to America I lived mostly in Iowa City Iowa before moving to Arizona Growing up was challenging from learning the language to understanding different cultures but it helped shape who I am today I do still speak my native language which is Arabic My parents surprisingly never learned English and to this day cannot speak it My husband and I have been together for 10 years we have 2 beautiful children boy and girl and a puppy My son is 8 years old and my daughter is 3 Our puppy who just turned 1 is a toy poodle My family and I really enjoy outdoor activities We are always hiking camping or kayaking somewhere in Arizona If I am not lost in nature then you can find me indulging in cooking or reading I also enjoy conspiracy theories and video games I am a plant collector and can easily get scammed into buying them Before I started at Optima I was a medical assistant thinking I wanted to be in the medical field but quickly realized I was not built for it I couldn t stomach any of it it s not what Grey s Anatomy made it out to be I have been with Optima since September 2020 I started off as RSS which is now known as customer services then promoted to TPSS and now Tax Preparer I enjoy working for Optima It has been a tremendous journey of professional and personal growth
