Paulina Saucedo o t g n i Gett w you kno Hey everyone My name is Paulina Saucedo I started at Optima in August of 2019 and it s been quite a journey since I feel like I ve learned so much here from tax jargon to fine tune people skills that I ll be able to take with me for the rest of my life I was born in Indio CA Though most people will only know it as the birthplace of the Coachella Valley Music Festival it s home to me My parents met as musicians at a gig when my mom was 18 my dad was 23 I m the oldest of 3 siblings and ALL 3 of us are musicians It s apparently in our blood My dad was raised in Michoacan Mexico and struggled to migrate here to the states He worked many landscaping jobs but his passion has always been his music and still rings true to this day He learned English from raising my siblings and I and eventually became a citizen in 2019 A very proud moment for all of us I have a dog named Booth who is my baby boy and acts like a baby even though he s around 140 pounds He s a German Shepard Saint Bernard mix and he has the slobber to prove it On my down time I m usually reading Currently reading Hood Feminism and I highly recommend or playing my ukulele or doing a very lazy version of yoga I think one MAIN thing you should know about me is that I m a huge advocate of people showing people compassion If we can take time to be kinder to ourselves and others then tomorrow might be a little brighter than it was today
