GETTING TO KNOW YOU MARGAUX VELASQUEZ Hi Everyone My name is Gianne Margaux Velasquez I am the legal assistant for Brand Protection I actually go by Margaux but I was too shy when I started in Optima to request a name change on my email It s been two years and I guess it s too late for that now or maybe this is my chance Lol I was born and raised in the Philippines I graduated from De La Salle University Manila with a Bachelor of Science in Legal Management I worked as a paralegal in the Philippines for a year then moved to the USA in 2021 I plan to go to law school and get my Juris Doctor degree It has always been my dream to become a lawyer As for now I am enjoying my new life long role as a mom I am a brand new mom I had just given birth to my beautiful daughter three months ago Her name is Amelia Life s been brighter and more beautiful ever since she arrived Her dad Jared and I are furparents to two of the best dogs ever a seven year old pug named Popoy and a labrador pitbull mix named Peanut I love taking care of my family and I enjoy keeping our little home clean and peaceful My hobbies are reading writing painting working out photography and spending time with my family I m a homebody who loves to travel I enjoy parks beaches antique shops thrift stores fairs etc I don t like driving as much as I m supposed to and I m not a huge fan of roller coasters but I do love theme parks I m so grateful to be part of the Optima team and I look forward to meeting more Optimians in the future

JOANNA RAUDA Leadership fun facts WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE MEAL My favorite meal is known as Discada This is a meal often made in Durango Mexico where my mother is from Discada consists of 5 different types of meats Beef taco meat Chorizo Sausage Bacon and Ham It is made in a dish also known as a Disco and eaten in a tacos or gorditas with creamy avocado salsa WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR HOBBIES My hobbies are traveling to Mexico Collecting Tequila bottles and off roading Every year I go to Mexico and do my best to visit new places This year I got the opportunity to visit Tequila Jalisco and it was the best Every time I am in Mexico I love bringing back Tequila bottles with me Some bottles were gifts as those who know me know I love Tequila I love the adrenaline of off roading and every year in October we go out to either Dumont Dunes or Glamis for Halloween weekend WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST JOB My first Job was at the age of 19 and I worked for a company named United Verifications Services At this job we would only handle incoming calls for clients that signed up for long distance call services All we had to do was verify that the client s information was correct I worked here for almost 2 years until the company officially closed WHO INSPIRES YOU I am inspired by my family They are very loving and supporting and I know I can always count on them I see how hard they all work to reach their goals and anything they set their minds to accomplish They motivate me to be the best that I can be IF YOU COULD TRAVEL ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD WHERE WOULD YOU GO AND WHY I would go to El Salvador because my dad is from there and I have not been there since I was 11 years old I would love to get to learn more about it and the culture
