Reflective Essay I dedicate these works to my wonderful family my friends Seth Max Shizu Hamel and Brandon Thank you all for supporting and inspiring me to be my best It s been quite the year hasn t it With all of the stuff that s been going on with the pandemic it s kinda hard to believe that summer is right around the corner It seems like 2021 is moving a lot faster than 2020 was and for me that s a good thing It means that soon all of this stuff will be over and we ll all be able to go out watch a movie at the theater and go on dates at that fancy restaurant down the street But until then allow me to regale you with the wonderous tales that lay within these pages I wrote most of these in the dead of night tired and wondering if what I had was good enough I had a constant doubt a nagging feeling that s followed me throughout my life that maybe just maybe these works suck But I am glad that I was able to work through it with the help of my many friends and family to present these wonderful works I even created a few of these works before the semester even started and I used what I learned here both in fiction writing and seminar to touch up on and fix up a few of them Some of them connect with Velaria the world that was introduced to you all earlier Others are simply stories that could be any time or any place I have scary stories slice of life stories even a tragic space opera for you to enjoy So kick back relax with a drink by the TV or wherever else you kick back and sip drinks while reading and
please enjoy And if any of my family and or friends are reading this know that all of you are irreplaceable companions that I wouldn t trade for the world Photocoffee Once upon a time there was a sleepy little town in Montana called Crossroads It was a place of wonder and beauty A place of pain and suffering A place of life with all of the good and bad that comes with it Where you can make something of yourself create your dreams and bring them to life and watch as it all crumbles down Truly such a place that Order to table three came a voice from behind Shinon opened her eyes to see that she had been staring into the coffee pot to the point that it was almost cooled down Flushed with embarrassment she poured the pot into three white ceramic mugs and handed them off to get picked up Hey sis you alright came the voice of her brother Jack Sitting up at the counter taking orders and handing them out like it was nothing Looking so calm and confidant as he greeted every new face with a smile on his own Like this was some sort of game Shinon though still slinging coffee didn t respond as she wasn t fully back in the here and now With the next mug in her hand almost full she didn t realize she was strangling it until the telltale snap and subsequent shattering of ceramic on the floor slammed into her ears Coffee and bits of mug surrounded her feet on the floor Her shoes and socks were not only soaked but stained with brown splatters Shinon stood still taking stock of the damage She noticed her uniform apron was also drenched with coffee and tiny shards of ceramic and quickly brushed them off onto the floor
She took a step back slipping the apron off as she began to wipe the mess up carefully avoiding the ceramic shards on the floor Stupid they all saw that She whispered to herself hissing as the coffee finally soaked through the apron Hey called a quiet voice from above Jack was on his knees with a proper towel wiping up the mess she had made Go up front I got this covered He said as he handed her his own apron She nodded her thanks as she slipped Jacks apron on approaching the counter with caution due to the ceramic shards still on the floor Surprisingly what was once a bustling coffee shop just a few hours ago had turned into an almost barren wasteland Save for the half asleep homeless man in the corner booth most of the people here had cleared out as the clock struck noon Hey sis break time Jack said as he carried a dustpan full of ceramic shards the trash can Shinon sat at the counter ruffling her hair with her hands as she leaned her head against the counter Can today get any worse And thus the magic words were spoken as another sound invaded Shinon s ears DING went the doorbell as a young woman dressed in casual clothes with a small black purse slung over her shoulder The young woman walked over to the counter her short hair swaying with each step She was beautiful The stranger walked over to the counter and with a cheerful smile spoke up Hi I m kinda new around here what s good on the menu N new Shinon stuttered out How are you new
The stranger chuckled The hell kinda question is that She leaned against the counter Well coffee girl I m new in town I take photos for a living She lifted her bag which upon further inspection was actually a leather photo case camera and everything inside And what do you do besides make coffee Shinon growled That s none of she caught herself I mean yes I make coffee I also live here Now are you ordering something because if not then I need to ask you to leave Shinon said as she placed a menu on the counter Then stranger huffed Well then I guess I ll do that then Her eyes browsed the menu until finally she looked up and handed the menu over I would like a peppermint mocha latte with three sugars a half cup of cream and a pinch of vanilla extract Photo Girl said with a smile Shinon glared at Photo Girl but conceded her request Surprisingly the drink wasn t that hard to make despite its complexity After a few minutes to let it cool down Shinon handed the drink to her Sipping her drink Photo Girl smirked Well then seems like coffee girl ain t half bad still shit though Shinon s eye twitched as thunder began to rumble outside Shit she stood up and slammed her hands down onto the counter My whole day has been nothing but shit And you want to complain to me about something you ordered You can go screw yourself for all I care get lost Lightning flashed and thunder rumbled as the smirk on Photo Girl s face dropped to a cold frown You know I was going to be nice and say that this place could do with some nice pics But now She set her coffee down onto the counter Now I don t think so In fact I think people deserve a warning Keep their day from getting ruined by a crabby little
girl who can t keep her temper Photo girl walked out of the door its ding getting muffled by the sound of thunder as rain began to pelt the windows Shinon stood stock still her eyes wide as she ran from out behind the counter and out the door her face and uniform getting plastered by the heavy rain But by the time She had gotten out the door Photo Girl was gone swept away by the storm I I m sorry But Shinon s words only joined the crash of thunder and lightning drowning out all sound and all potential for a new friendship And there stood a girl alone in the rain merely wishing for a friend to call her own The End
Tragedy of the Moon By Tyler Thielen This is how it feels to be Selena Markov forever Cold Thing you feel when you wake up is freezing cold The kind of cold only reserved for harsh winters and even harsher blizzards The kind of cold that one feels when they know deep down that something is terribly wrong in the world but they can t understand what And yet strangely not all of you feels cold only parts of yourself Your legs for one you can t feel at all Bits of flesh on your body feel rough and sticky like someone super glued wax paper onto your skin Why you think as another feeling washes through your body A strange tingling that a part of your mind vaguely recognizes as electricity shoots through you down your back through your body into where your unfeeling legs are Your arm as well now that you can feel it It hurts a lot that much you know as the electricity fades from a title wave to a stream from your head down your spine and into most of your limbs You feel them come alive again but they aren t really alive They don t feel that way at least
But your limbs are the least of your worries as the cold returns this time accompanied by a burning feeling as the paper on your skin burns with an intensity that you never knew could exist to the point that you can t tell the paper from your skin You try to scream to cry to reach for help but nobody comes Only silence answers your pleas for help Only you didn t reach because now you can feel it your arms strapped to something You can t move not even a fingertip You can t cry no matter how hard you try to force the tears they do not heed your call And you can t scream you realize for what being can scream without air in their lungs You begin choking desperately wishing for oxygen for life for a chance no matter how small to live again And it appears that your wish is granted and the electricity comes back but this time it comes for your chest A buzzing feeling appears and then your chest moves Your lungs open up and in what seems like years you taste air Like a sailor without water for weeks you drink You drink and drink until your lungs are fit to burst and the humming in your chest starts again and you give it all up But you don t want to give it up you want to breathe again And once again it obliges sending beautiful air into your body again This time you only take a little bit and give the rest back freely It gets easier and easier to breathe to take life and give it back Your thoughts turn to other matters like why is there only darkness in front of you The dark stays there as you lay down breathing in and out thinking about why you see only darkness Then the darkness lets up just a little and you see shapes vague impressionless shapes but shapes nonetheless growing bigger and bigger Then you realize that they aren t getting bigger but closer You feel fear just
a smidgen for you know not what these shapes wish of you They grow ever bigger until all you can see is the shapes Then the pain comes a deep stabbing pain that you somewhat recall feels like getting a shot Only you re not really recalling these as you re too busy screaming in your head as the pain ceaselessly marches on Then the pain stops and you see the shapes again only they aren t just shapes anymore they are needles multitudes of needles some big some small some dripping with fluids all of them pointed at you You see other shapes too right next to your face You don t like these shapes they glow and hurt to look at You close your eyes wishing for the shapes to disappear for all of this to disappear but it doesn t and they don t either BRAIN WAVES FUNCTIONAL EYE TRANSPLANTS OPERATIONAL LUNG ENHANCERS AT 100 None of it goes away maybe it will stay with you forever these shapes SKIN GRAFTS 100 LIMB OPERATIONS 100 THROAT DAMAGE 32 INITIATING REPAIRS
The shapes finally disappear instead another machine lowers down from the ceiling filling you with more dread You predict this will mean more pain The machine wastes no time affixing something to your face You feel the electricity again you can even taste it this time It tastes awful You begin to choke again as the machine cuts off your air You feel something press against your throat before slicing it open blood pouring into a tube inserted into your throat before being pumped back into your body somewhere The Machine begins putting its many tiny arms into you slicing flesh and affixing strange objects inside of you before pulling out Leaving only what feels like a mask on your face You can breathe again but the mask is still on your face as the machine returns your air supply You hear it whirling and beeping before shutting itself into the ceiling You still can t move Can t even turn your head to see anything else but the ceiling Is it done a raspy voice sounds from somewhere It sounds old and distinctly male The machine beeps at him from the ceiling Then release her The clamps holding you to the table open and you tumble unceremoniously onto the floor It hurts somewhat and you continue to breath rather audibly It sounds loud and off Fake like the machine in the ceiling Yet you continue to breath even as the voice speaks again Rise Lady Artemis You do or at least try Your legs feel like stilts as does your left arm Stiff and uncooperative like disobedient children You manage to get off the floor however and stand shakily
For a moment the man doesn t speak giving you time to look upon the room you are in It s mostly empty with shiny metal grey walls a few lights affixed to the ceiling blast down their harsh light You ignore it as you always do to distractions In front of you is an old View Screen an obsolete form of communication with the invention of holograms Now that you can see better most of the equipment in this room is old from the outdated medical equipment to the practically glued together operating stand that held you only seconds before The Screen is on showing his majesty to you in all of his old wrinkly glory He speaks again Good good You show life yet Tell me where is Princess Desara Where is my daughter at You don t know how to answer him as you can barely even remember your own name much less someone else Who who are you Who am I You speak only it doesn t sound like you It is like someone else is speaking for you a stranger s voice in your body A raspy artificial voice So the dog can t even remember its own name its own purpose he says mockingly Well then let me enlighten you In front of you the screen changes images You don t recognize what is on it at first but it soon becomes clear A public square you don t know where A figure in front of a crowd some sort of leader giving a speech You don t hear anything but the crowd begins cheering as another two people enter the screen one a big bulky man with a scar on his left eye and the other a smaller figure a girl in a pretty white dress with a bag on her head She is pushed down onto her knees and the bag is lifted from her head Her
black hair flows down her face and she looks at the screen The leader speaks to her you can t hear them and she spits in his face He slaps her and turns to the big man and nods She is pushed onto her front her head resting on a stone block The Man raises up a large Cariso Steel axe and after a moment swings The expression under the mask doesn t change even as the blood is spilt even as her head is lifted up even as the crowd cheers and the screen shuts off So now you know You know what happened to her But did you know it was going to happen He asks calmy Suddenly you feel intense agonizing pain as electricity wracks you and the prison you are encased in Did you know Did you know she was going to die All to help your Rebel friends ANSWER ME But you can t your thoughts are too chaotic and confused Memories flashing left and right memories of black hair of a pale white dress of a loving smile A gentle touch caressing your face you remember her N No This can t be real your new voice echoes through the room She was alive I felt it I saw her minutes ago But in your heart you know that to be a lie You don t know how long you were on that table I PROMISED HER THAT SHE WOULD BE OK I I You want to cry to scream and sob and something in you snaps Words flash past your shut eyes like electromagnetic generator starting or K Crystal apparatus activating But you don t care you re too angry to care With a scream the walls around you begin to shake some crumpling as the machinery around you gets lit aflame The Emperor sighs and you hear a beep among the crashing and screaming
After years or is it minutes you can t tell you finally get off of the floor The walls are now ruined caved in and heated to near impossible levels all of them barely supporting the ceiling they hold up But you don t notice for your thoughts are turned only inwards The pain has stopped the physical pain at least The mental pain however lingers It spikes and stabs at you makes you wish that the machine would cut you back open and give you the ability to cry or even just let you bleed out But that doesn t happen the machine stays silent But you don t With a primal scream you jump empowered by your new limbs and rip the machine down from its perch You bash it against the floor again and again and again each swing decimating the medical bot to the point of no repair You breathe but it does nothing to quell the rage and pain inside Suddenly you hear something as one of the walls no not a wall a door squeaks open with effort and people men step inside 10 of them all of them armed They are dressed like soldiers makeshift soldiers but soldiers all the same Thought I heard something here guess I was right What is this supposed to be some kinda bot Doesn t matter we got what we came for Another voice says All of the men straighten up as another man walks into the room He is big and blurry with a scar on his left eye and a Cariso Steel Axe covered with fresh blood You begin breathing heavily rage fills you a rage so deep and dark that even the deepest oceans could not hold it in One of his men taps him on the shoulder Sir we found this bot here not sure what it s doing
Scarface as you have now dubbed him scoffs A bot No this is a cyborg gents He turns to you So what s a cyber doing in here Come to get a tune up You don t answer not verbally at least You know that this man needs to die now Words flash before your eyes words only you can see Phasesaber equipped A familiar hilt is now resting in your palm drawn from your new arm It ignites in a blazing red the light dancing on your mask He laughs even as his men look scared out of their minds So this is where you ended up huh Lady Artemis Last of the Red Hand He holds out his Axe Former lover of Princess Desara Your eyes widen Yeah everybody from here to Coriso knows about your little fling with her by now And if ya want to join her just don t resist Cause we got ya completely surrounded girly You step forwards towards him And speak All I am surrounded by is fear and dead men The rest of his men take a step back as Scarface lunges forwards You knock him back with a single swing of your arm he goes down as the men raise their blasters The one in front of you doesn t even get a chance to swing as you dash forwards getting behind him and proceed to use him as a shield the other men having started blasting at you the moment you moved The plasma bolts impacted their comrade and you use your magnetic shifter to push the body at a group of them on the other side of the room with them knocked over you dash to two others who shoot at you in a frenzy You doge all of their shots and magnetically pull one towards you The other man stops firing afraid to hit his brother but he needn t bother as you cut the man in half and rush towards the other and ending him with a well placed decapitation
The other seven troops pull themselves together as Scarface rushes out of the room yelling at them to follow him A few rush after him the other three stay with you to hold you off The fools A quick scan of your new suit s abilities reveals some new tricks and you decide to test one out raising your left hand you point at one of the men With a mighty spark lightning erupts from your fingertips blasting all three men to the wall and electrocuting them to death You fall to your knees slightly exhausted by the power consumption the suit demanded of you before pushing yourself up and walking out of the room and towards the other soldiers You enter a long dark hallway the light on the ceiling flickering as you spot the silhouettes of the rest of the soldiers ahead of you trying to open one of the blast doors It s coming it s coming you hear one shout Then give me the drive Scarface He s close W what are we going to do sir one rebel asked his commander You lot You hear a blast door close are gonna stay behind and hold that thing off so that I can get back to command W what you hear the other soldiers voice their dissent as you step closer You finally see them as Scarface catches sight of you in the darkness Have fun boys He says in a jolly tone as he rushes off visible through the blast door window The others turn slowly to you fear evident on their faces You don t remember killing them only their screams and cries as they were cut down begging
you for mercy You refused every offer With them out of the way you make short work of the blast door and sprint quickly catching up to Scarface When you do find him he s trying to load a massive crate into a small escape pod Come on work you piece of karalas dung He shoves the thing with his shoulder it doesn t move an inch He turns and notices you an aww shit expression crossing his face as he realized he has nowhere to run Hefting his axe he sprints at you with a wild battle cry clearly not remembering the last time he did this With a magnetic push you force the Axe out of his hands as you stab your saber into his arm The axe launched at the pod and cut a new hole in the hull of the ship The pod launched against its will into space and the hole got bigger and bigger Scarface struggled to breath in the newly created vacuum You however are breathing just fine you don t even feel the pull of the escaping air into the vacuum thanks to the magnetic field in your new feet as you reach forwards and calmly grab his throat in your hand Scarface struggles to breath as he looks at you your hand around his throat his face next to yours W what the hell are you he gets out short of breath Memories come back to you slowly Sara laughing at a joke you told Sara smiling as she wishes you a happy birthday Sara congratulating you after a hard won battle Sara
You snap back to him as the memories vanish You have only one answer for him Death You let go as he screams and shoots out into the vacuum of space freezing and struggling to breath This is how it feels you think as Scarface lets out his dying gasps Cold hateful afraid helpless alone sad This is how it feels to Artemis forever The End
Chill in on the Moon Awesome it is an emotion that is often stated to be felt but seldom is it truly felt in the heart To be awesome something must be capable of generating the feeling of awe within someone as the word implies As Jake stared out into the abyss of space beneath his helmet he felt it The sight of the Earth above him was awesome in every sense of the word Come on kid your gonna go loopy ya keep staring for too long We gotta job to do so hurry up His companion Mr White said Mr White had been on the Moon Settlement longer than anyone else around and boy did he sure act like it Coming Mr White Jake called back Jake ran over to his superior huffing and puffing despite the oxygen pack on his back Mr White sighed as he reached the duo s destination a pair of lawn chairs set up at the boundary of the safe travel zone Mr White reached the lawn chairs before Jake did and promptly leaned back into one seemingly not at all concerned with the oxygen pack on his back as he reached over to an old green Cashire cooler and pulled out a couple of cold Gillers Jake watched as a few stray ice cubes floated off into space before returning his gaze to Mr White and the beer in his hand
So this is what you ve been doing instead of your job Sitting here and drinking Jake said in astonishment Mr White sighed as he turned to his companion Listen kid pull up a chair and you an me ll have a seat Jake huffed but he knew that there was no arguing with his boss as he sat next to Mr White on his own chair Mr White handed him a Gillers and leaned back sighing in comfort Alright kid listen when you re at my age you tend to look for the little things in life ya know It ain t easy being a hundred and sixty trust me He took a sip of his drink as Jake unsure of what to do attempted to copy him However his beer had unfortunately splashed against his helmet and as Jake hurried to save his beer Mr White put a hand to his head his disappointment mixed with frustration Kid there s a bright blue button on the side of your helmet push it will ya Jake having failed to save half of his beer embarrassingly complied fumbling with the buttons until he pushed the right one Alright now try that again Jake complied with Mr White s directions as he tipped his beer back and to Jake s surprise he felt the liquid fill his mouth Astonished he turned to Mr White who s only reply was to keep staring at the Earth above them
After a few minutes of silence Mr White turned to Jake and simply said You got a lot to learn kid Jake could only stare up at the vast expanse of space beer in hand and agree with his mentor The End
Cherish By Tyler Thielen Light That s all a man saw was the light of a rising sun spilling over horizon like a pitcher full of water A rainbow of colors washing over the land he saw in his eyes a land hadn t truly seen before until now Rolling hills as far as the eye could see covered in buildings small and large like a patchwork quilt roads peppered with tiny colorful dots moving this way and that And most charming of all was the lake he hadn t even known existed here until now Leaning on the wooden railing overlooking this beautiful body of water the man looked down at himself clothes a little ruffled skin a little dirty and for a moment he was envious of the lake Envious of its stillness and beauty as it sat here oh so calm and clean He listened with his ears to the crashing sound of water flowing from the lake and down to the pool below envious of its ability to change and move unburdened for centuries unlike himself The Man sighed as he looked down a thirst clawing its way up a dry throat as he coughed for a few seconds and wondered looking down at the lake what such beauty must taste like Not stale but crisp and cool like a liquid breath of fresh air He was envious even of this as he hacked and wheezed as he fell to the dirt enraged by the lake s ability to heal and nurture and yet desperately wanting to do that himself The Man now disheveled and exhausted picked himself up off of the ground When did he last sleep Was it yesterday or the day before He looked back at the lake at the
rising sun at the colors pouring in from the heavens All of these beautiful things here and all of the people down there ignoring them Beauty such as this should be cherished These sights and sounds these simple things we humans take for granted in the game of life Heh game of life That s all this is to them a game that they naively want to win But how does one win at a game as grand as life Does one sit there following the monotony day after day as the people do No such a life would be the very definition of insanity Then is the answer to be like the lake to sit here in seclusion and look pretty content with hoping the one day someone will notice you notice your beauty and take pity on you and fall in love No because it won t be long before they stop pitying you stop noticing you and most definitely stop loving you Another cough racked his throat as The Man realized that he had screamed that out loud Shouting it out to the heavens and the angels that live there for everyone to hear Only there was no one to hear his cries no one to listen to him scream no one to behold the sermons that had graced his lips The truths that were brought to him only three days ago when he had unchained himself from complacency from untruth from the very false life that those below him live even now Heh how they were all fools pigs that wallow in the darkness and dirt committing heinous acts of violence and despair never knowing of the beauty around them of the wonders that lie in the game called life The Man picked himself up off of the ground and turned away from the lake from the waterfall from the rolling hills and rising sun with light pouring out like a bucket of water He smiled to himself as he began to make his plan Yes a grand plan on that would benefit the human race for millennium to come He would teach them teach them all the true meaning of this world that life and all of its aspects were to cherished And if they refused to learn He would make them
Just like he did to her The End
By Tyler Thielen Cold that is all she felt when she woke up The freezing cold biting through her skin stabbing into her throat and turning her lungs into a blizzard The Woman took in short quick breaths trying to mitigate the freezing air around her as she looked around trying to figure out where she was The most immediate thing was that she was in a wooden chair a big hardy thing made of oak and cedar Tough yet comfortable save for the plastic zip ties holding her hands to the arms of the chair A quick check of her leges revealed that they too were zip tied down to the chair Most prominently in front of her was a large metal garage door one bound to the floor via a sturdy looking padlock There were wooden boxes piled up into all four corners of the massive room large crates filled with sacks of flour smaller boxes with various mixers and microwaves and even a few ovens if she went by the labels on the front of the boxes Above the boxes in all four corners were four intercoms each one rigged up to a small control booth above her right She looked up desperate for someone to be there And there it was a silhouette of a man leaning over something large likely the control booth Hey Help me I m stuck in this chair Please Help me she shouted at the shadow The Shadow while she couldn t quite see it was messing with the control booth She jumped in her seat as the intercoms crackled to life Hey can you hear me I m stuck here in this place can y
Suddenly she was cut off as a voice echoed from the intercom a voice that sent a shiver down her spine and make her even colder than she already was Lisa The voice said menacingly Lisa trembled as the cold was starting to get to her Even still she was excited Her love was here He would rescue her sweep her up in his arms and they could go to the police and just go home Honey I m down here Someone s tied me up I I think they might still be here Be careful I m not sure The intercom was silent for the longest time as Lisa waited for what seemed like forever Then it crackled to life again and Lisa s world shattered to pieces with two simple words I know Lisa chokes on her next word her mind buzzing with fear and betrayal Y you know Why D her voice lowered to a whisper Did you put me here The silence returns and becomes almost thick enough to cut through Answer me she shouts not caring about the frigid air invading her already drying throat Look behind you He says Lisa turns her head around seeing the darkness behind her for the first time as the lights came on with a CLANG There in the middle of the freezing room was an oven with a stove on top Only it didn t quite look like an oven Attached to the stove was large black box as long as the oven itself with ten small holes on the front This is your test my love Your test to see if you truly are still my faithful loving wife Lisa shivered her next words coming out as a stammer O of course I am what kind of question is that The kind that you must answer right now The zip ties that bound her limbs snapped having preformed their duty admirably Lisa stood as she rubbed her arms and legs still sore from being bound like that She slowly
walked over to the oven holding herself in her arms as the chill began to bite harder Her breath became visible as she drew closer to the oven the biting air getting even colder than it was before Finally she had reached the oven and the intercom crackled on once again Before you lies an amazing invention of mine Take a look if you want to Lisa scanned the oven noticing details that she hadn t seen before The dials and stovetop were all removed replaced with that large black box It was humming and a faint mist flew out of the box Lisa reached out and waved a hand through the mist Ahh she jumped back as the examined her hand now a dark reddish color and paled This this is some super fridge Correct Lisa This is the Mark VII Yeti Refrigeration unit It cools its insides using Industrial Grade refrigeration technology a military grade fan and Liquid Nitrogen I remember you talking about getting one for the shop last week Lisa shivered from the excess cold the unit was putting off making her even colder that she normally would be Lisa began rubbing her hands together inside her pants pockets as her husband continued Yes that s right It was to be a gift for you Her husband sighs as Lisa examines the machine once more Ok then so what s with the oven Pretty sure that s not supposed to go with a fridge at all Her husband chuckles Take a look inside Do you see it Lisa squats down keeping her chilly hands in her pocket to keep them warm as she stares through the oven door There s something there Its a pie Indeed Lisa was staring at an unbaked pie the crust yet to rise Indeed there is Now then the key to the door is inside of that pie But don t think you can just reach in and grab it Programmed this oven to only open once you have baked the pie Lisa growls How the hell am I supposed to bake the damn thing You took off all the oven dials for this giant fridge
That is where you are wrong my dear Take a look at the refrigerator Lisa leaned in and saw only what she had seen before The black smooth mass revealed nothing safe for the light glancing atop its surface and Those holes what are they I am glad you asked Lisa Those are additions I personally installed They are finger holes Lisa s skin went pale F finger holes Her husband scoffs Yes Lisa finger holes I want you to place your fingers in them The modified refrigerator will absorb the heat from your body and transfer it over to the oven baking the pie However you only have so much heat within you and the door will permanently lock within twelve hours I would hurry if I were you Remember this Lisa Cherish what we had what you threw away and you might yet make it out of this alive The intercom shut off as Lisa began to silently cry as the weight of what she had to do began to press in on her Her husband who she loved with all her heart had placed her in this death game And now she was might lose her life because of what a few little mistakes A brief glance here or there Some harmless fun Meekly she placed her hands in the holes preparing herself for the trial to come But nothing could prepare her for the chill of the fridge for the pain that came soon after and the rage from a man with a broken heart The End

Halloween Halloween night is supposed to a fun and joyful venture for those that roam the night Children laughing and playing adults greeting them with smiles and bowls full of candy But not Dr Looms The psychiatrist of Smith s Grove Mental Institution wasn t here for fun and games for tonight he hunted not for sweets and candy but a Shape in the dark Evil Incarnate in the head of a young boy Dr Loomis turned walked up to one of the houses on the street he was searching on as two children ran out in their pajamas screaming and crying for help And Loomis knew knew that it was in there It was in there with someone else and he would be damned if that Evil harmed anyone else Rushing into the house as he felt for his revolver in his pocket Loomis prayed that he wouldn t be too late that The Shape wouldn t claim another victim Loomis ran into the modest house with its polished wooden floors and its typical suburban furniture not caring about either as he heard a scream come from the floor above him Rushing up the stairs Loomis turned to find his prey the throat of a young girl in his hands Loomis pointed his gun at The Shape as the girl struggled in his grasp grabbing and pushing at his face in attempt to break free And with a mighty tug the girl wrenched the mask off of The Shape to revel the man underneath Michael Myers
The young boy who he had taken care of for six years then tried to lock him away for another eight Michael stood the in the hall the mask in hand as she looked down at it for a moment And in that moment the fleeting hope of Michael dropping the Mask dropping the Shape caused Loomis to stay his hand on the trigger But then moment passed as Michael put the mask on and became The Shape once more So Loomis stayed his hand no more and pulled the trigger shooting The Shape The Shape stumbled into the bedroom down the hall leaving the crying girl alone as Loomis quickly followed It There it Stood in the room only its breathing audible in the darkness Seeing his chance Loomis unloaded his revolver into The Shape each of the five shots forcing it back through the window and over the balcony as it tumbled down to its certain demise Loomis pulled the trigger one final time as the gun clicked its chambers empty its smoking barrel still pointed towards the window It was then that Loomis noticed the sobbing girl behind him in the hallway as she slowly looked him in the eye and whispered to him It was the boogie man Loomis turned to the girl and weather in a moment of reassurance or pity he responded to her As a matter of fact it was He said as he turned back to the window Trudging towards it Loomis hoped as hard as he could that the Evil was gone but the gnawing doubt in his heart told him to look anyway Loomis arrived at the window and looked down at the ground where the Shape had landed only
there was no Shape Only the suburban grass greeted his sight as his hopes became dashed His silence must have told the girl everything she suspected as she broke down into tears soon after Loomis could have sworn that he had hear the Shape s heavy breathing in his ear as he looked towards the end of the street his gaze passed house after house until it finally landed on to the old Myers house where he had met a young boy with the blackest eyes the devil s eyes fifteen years ago today His no It s actions would stain the community for who knows how long On the night He came home Halloween
