We were blessed three years ago this month with a “new to us” building. Thethoughts of what we would do with additional space for our employees, members andthe community all came to mind. Four months ago the Robertson County Chamber ofCommerce recognized there was a need for businesses in the area to pull together tosee what our Veterans need. During the first meeting it was discovered that ourVeterans would like to have a place that they could fellowship together. Hearing this need The Credit Union for Robertson County along side of The RobertsonCounty Chamber of Commerce began working to achieve this and two months agowe had our first Coffee & Comradery with Veterans in the community. Coffee & Comradery is a monthly fellowship time that all Veterans are welcome toattend every third Tuesday of each month from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at our TomAustin Branch located at 3564 Tom Austin Highway in Springfield. There is not aprogram or speaker, but there will be donuts, coffee and much comradery! Our next Coffee & Comradery will be Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 8:30 a.m. and we hopeto see you there! The HEARTBEAT | p a g e 0 5
