THE FARMS COUNTRY CLUB4GOLF COURSE AERIFICATION WEEKThe Golf Course will be closed during this time. Depending on the weather, the Golf Course should reopen on Friday, August 15th. The Clubhouse Restaurant will be closedTuesday, August 12 - Thursday, August 14th thThe Snack Bar will be open normal hours and the Tiki Barwill be open 11AM until no longer needed. THE BENEFITS OF AERIFICATIONAerification creates channels that allow oxygen topenetrate the soil, promoting healthy root growth andencouraging the decomposition of thatch. Thatch is alayer of dead grass and organic material that builds upbetween the soil and the grass blades. When thatchbecomes too thick, it can block water and air fromreaching the roots, creating a breeding ground forpests and diseases. By removing soil plugs, aerification helps control thatch buildup.
