The Children’s Center Utah strengthens infantand early childhood mental health through: CENTER-BASED CLINICAL SERVICESOutpatient Clinical Services: Children birth through six and their familiesreceive research-based, trauma-informedoutpatient therapy. Therapeutic Preschool: Children ages two through five with the mostacute mental health needs receive additionalsupport beyond outpatient services so they canthrive in traditional preschool settings. STATEWIDE PROVIDER SERVICESEarly Childhood Consultation andTraining:Licensed childcare program professionals from avariety of backgrounds receive in-person andvirtual training and consultation. CAPACITY BUILDING SYSTEM WORKWorkforce Development: Infant and early childhood mental healthprofessionals and students participate ininternship and residency opportunities. Public Awareness and Program/PolicyDevelopment: Awareness and policy development effortsensure early childhood mental health remains atthe forefront of statewide discussions. Our dedicated team includes psychologists,psychiatrists, clinical social workers, mentalhealth counselors, licensed marriage and familytherapists, graduate student interns,paraprofessionals, shuttle bus drivers, andtalented administrators. PROGRAMSThe Children's Center Utah provides servicesto children birth through six. Therapistsprovide outpatient family therapy and parentgroups in person and via telehealth. We provide child-centered consultation andtraining to build early childhood providers'capacity to enhance the emotional well-beingof children in their care.
