Session Rate 3 hours, morning or afternoon £26.00 • Charged to children not yet eligible for EYE funding. • Charged to children receiving universal EYE funding who attend for additional session(s) and are not entitled to 30 hours funded childcare. • A discounted session rate is charged to children receiving universal EYE funding who attend for additional session(s) and are in receipt of certain benefits. Please speak to the manager. • Session rate includes all consumables and activities. Sibling Discount 10% • Discount will be applied to all funded hours when siblings attend The Barn at the same time and/or a sibling has previously attended The Barn. Lunch Club: 1 hour from 12.00 noon to 1.pm £8.50 • Charged to children who are not yet eligible for EYE funding. • Charged to children who exceed their EYE entitlement. • Not charged to children who stay all day and/or do an afternoon session. Barn Charge £2.50 per funded hour • Charged to children who receive 15 hours funding for working parents, 15 hours universal early years funding and 30 hours funding, at the rate of £2.50 per funded hour attended per week. • Not charged to children in receipt of Universal Credit, 2 Year Old Disadvantaged Funding or Early Years Pupil Premium. Early Bird Club: Up to 30 minutes from 8.30 am – 9.00 am £4.00 per day • Early years funded hours can be used for Early Bird Club, if hours are available. • Ad-hoc access at the daily rate, subject to availability. Late Collection • A late collection fee will be charged for late pick up at the end of the session at the rate of £10 for the first 10 minutes and then £10 per 5 minutes thereafter. Contd.

Parents do not need to apply for this funding. o Disadvantaged 2-year-old Early Years Education funding is available if you claim certain benefits. o Parents need to apply for this funding. Homepage | HMRC Childcare Choices o From September 2024, eligible working families of children are entitled to 15 hours funding from the age of 9 months. Parents need to apply for this funding. Homepage | HMRC Childcare Choices o Parents of children receiving the Early Years Education funding are invoiced an hourly Barn Charge, with the exceptions listed in the fees table on page 1. This charge contributes towards the cost of providing quality learning experiences and activities, over and above the standard requirements of the EYFS. At The Barn, all children have a book bag and take home books from The Barn library, and weekly homelink activities and resources are provided to support home learning. Activities include Rainbow Time, Activate, Music and Movement, Write Dance, small group activities, P.E, forest school activities, gardening, science investigations, baking and foreign language experiences. Each year, the children learn about the life cycle and the care and handling of ducklings and other animals, and they enjoy visits from people who help us. o Please see next page for Terms and Conditions of Payment of Fees. o All fees are invoiced within the first week of term. Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date unless you have elected to pay monthly using Childcare Vouchers, Bank Transfer or Tax Free Childcare, using our Payment Options Form. Last updated 18/09/2024 The Barn Nursery School Terms and Conditions of Payment of Fees 1. Invoices will be emailed out to parents during the first week of each term, unless otherwise advised. 2. Payment of fees is due within 14 days of the invoice date unless you have advised us on the Payment Options Form that you are paying in monthly instalments by bank transfer, childcare vouchers, cash or the Government tax-free childcare scheme. 3. Monthly instalments/payments are due on the 5th of the month unless otherwise agreed. 4. The Session Rate is charged if a child is not eligible for EYE funding and for any sessions exceeding the child's funding entitlement. 5. The hourly Barn Charge is payable for children who receive the universal 15 hours universal funding entitlement and children who receive the extended 30 hours funding entitlement. 6. The Barn Charge is not invoiced if the child receives 2 year old Disadvantaged family funding or Early Years Pupil Premium. 7. We are unable to offer a reduction in fees due to illness or term time holidays or offer alternative days to compensate/make-up. 8. We are unable to offer refunds/make up sessions in the event of the nursery closing due to extenuating circumstances – including power failures, adverse weather conditions and epidemics. 9. If fees remain outstanding at the end of the term, The Barn Nursery School reserves the right to charge a late payment fee of £25 plus 8% interest each and every month on any unpaid balances. 10. In the event that the outstanding amount is not settled within a two month period, The Barn Nursery School has the right to instigate small claims proceedings and will terminate the child's registration until the amount is paid in full.
