YEAR 1 TARGET ENROLLMENT Fifteen studentsTRAINING Foundational IT training with:• Tech sector training and college credits to lead to a great job, college enrollment – or both!• Work experience/partnership with local businesses and community organizations• Earning of relevant industry credentials STUDENT SUPPORT Coaching, professional development, career exploration, job placement assistance and fun community building POST-PROGRAM SUPPORT Six months of follow-up coaching and community engagement to ensure successful transitions to employment or postsecondary educationLOW-VOLTAGE ELECTRICAL TECHNICIANAV SYSTEMSHELP DESK SUPPORTNETWORK ADMINISITRATION• Like figuring out how things work – working with your hands or solving puzzles• Are curious about computers, systems, or how things are built • Thrive in challenging yourself and working hard—especially if it teaches something useful • Want to explore start a job right after graduation —but keep doors open for college, too• Love having support, coaching, a team-based environment- and having someone in your corner • Are interested in growing your skills and knowledge for broadening future college or career options This program seeks to address a critical gap in workforce development by serving the growing population of high school graduates who do not immediately enroll in college.
