Ed first saw the work of Food For The Poor on a mission trip to Haiti in2009, and realized that he could align his passion to helporganizations scale for growth with helping donors who care sopassionately to help those less fortunate make a real difference in theworld.Ed was born and raised in London. He received a Bachelor of Artsdegree in Political Science from the University of North Carolina atChapel Hill, and has a Certification in Organizational Developmentfrom Columbia University, as well as a Certification in Fundraising fromBoston University. H I G H L I G H T E D P R O J E C TTHE CRUZE FUND AT FOOD FOR THE POORNot only are the 112 coffee farmers have beenbeneficiaries of the Combrifol facilities improvementproject, in total the more than 150 Combrifol membersnow have an appropriate and safe place to process theircoffee and honey and guarantee the quality of theirproduct throughout the process. The great success of the Combrifol cooperative has onlybeen possible thanks to missionary hearts. The men andwomen here have had the chance to develop a trade thatthey can pass onto their children as they grow. Thus,creating a sustainable livelihood.
