Challenge:Amid a strategic restructuring, Lumea sought to strengthen its team by creating new positions that would support growth andoperational excellence. The company aimed to capitalize on its assets by bringing in top-tier talent capable of thriving in a lean,dynamic environment.Approach:Recognizing the need for specialized expertise, Lumea engaged me as their exclusive recruitment partner, given my establishedrelationships with the new senior leadership team. I collaborated closely with the General Manager of Telecommunications, theDirector of Sales & Channel, and the Director of Integrated Solutions to conduct a thorough needs analysis, ensuring a deepunderstanding of the skills and experience required for each role. My tailored recruitment strategies were designed to identifycandidates who not only possessed the technical qualifications but also the adaptability necessary to excel in a multifaceted role.Results:Through my strategic partnership, I successfully placed five key roles within a 12-month period: Senior Business DevelopmentManager: A highly regarded professional with extensive networks in the enterprise and government sectors, capable of driving newbusiness initiatives. Senior Structural Engineer/Product Owner: A leader for the Digital Twin platform, tasked with taking ownership andspearheading its launch. Challenge:Ventia was faced with a critical challenge in sourcing a qualified professional for the Telstra Account Director role—an essentialposition for managing their largest telco customer. The objective was to double the account size, but previous attempts to fill the rolehad been unsuccessful, with internal HR teams and exsiting panel recruitment partners exhausting their resources without results.Recognizing the urgency and importance of this role, Rene reached out to me, knowing my extensive experience intelecommunications after meeting at Commsday.Approach:As late addition as a recruitment partner for this specific assignment, I quickly assessed the situation and structured an efficientrecruitment process tailored to Ventia's needs. Partnering closely with the GM of Business Development, I leveraged my industrynetworks and insights to identify and attract top-tier candidates at speed. By effectively managing expectations and streamlining the recruitmentprocess, I ensured a fluid and positive onboarding experience for both candidates and hiring managers. This proactive engagementallowed me to develop targeted recruitment strategies that attracted top talent quickly and efficiently.Results:Successfully delivered high-caliber talent that significantly contributed to Optus' EPMO launch and improved operationaleffectiveness across diverse projects. Succesful placements included; 10 Project Managers (Technical and Business) and 4 ProgramManagers to facilitate EPMO initiatives. Program Directors and Transformation Managers to drive strategic projects. 12 BusinessAnalysts (Technical, Digital, Business) to enhance operational capabilities. Succesfully placed a strategic role for the AssociateDirector for Coles Mobile to increase market share and improve operations within its prepaid challenger brands division. To ensure a thorough yet efficient hiringprocess, I developed a structured interview framework that included feedback mechanisms for all participants, reinforcingSuperloop’s strong brand reputation. Throughout the search, I utilized my extensive network to conduct a meticulous screeningprocess, ultimately presenting four highly qualified candidates.Results:I successfully placed the Head of Customer Experience and Process Excellence within a four-week timeframe.
