EQUIPMENT COORDINATION AND OCCUPANCY MANAGEMENTDREXEL UNIVERSITYPHILADELPHIA, PATo create valuable opportunities for interdisciplinary education in Health Sciences, Drexel University invested in a new, state-of-the-art 12-story building, to house the Drexel’s College of Nursing and Health Professions, College of Medicine, and Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and Professional Studies. The building program consisted of wet labs, dry labs, classrooms, imaging labs, cell research space and hospital simulation rooms. TCC was engaged to provide equipment coordination and occupancy management. Our team skillfully coordinated the construction requirements for highly technical lab and healthcare simulation equipment, both existing to be relocation and new. Verification of the built condition and critical equipment specification requirements was key to the successful installation of multiple floors of specialized, sensitive, high value equipment. The TCC team established criteria for acceptance of new equipment and facilitated new systems training and turnover of all warranty documents prior to release of final payment to contractors and vendors. 8  THECARLINCOLLABORATIVE.COM9  THECARLINCOLLABORATIVE.COMMEDICAL ARTS PAVILIONATLANTICARE HEALTH SYSTEMATLANTIC CITY, NJWith the goal of advancing medical training services and addressing healthcare disparities in Atlantic City, AtlantiCare developed a new 69,700 sqft Medical Arts Pavilion. This three-story facility deepens AtlantiCare’s investment in health equity with new and expanded programs. As a part of Atlantic City’s ongoing redevelopment initiative, AtlantiCare received grant funding from the state Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA) for the development of this new medical office building. Additionally, the TCC team managed site improvements, tenant fit-outs, and innovative solutions to the clients rapid growth needs. This project also required public utility coordination with city thermal plant for steam as well as other utilities. The delveo9pment required complex coordination across various regulatory agencies, planning boards, user groups, and neighboring developments. Through TCC’s expert communication, community relations efforts, leadership, and logistical foresight the project was completed successfully meeting all client requirements.TCC provided full Project Management services for this ground-up, new construction project including planning, design management, construction management, vendor and equipment coordination, and move management leading the project to success from planning through occupancy. CDMO LABS FOR PENN U PROJECTSCLIENT CONFIDENTIALKING OF PRUSSIA, PENNSYLVANIAA rapidly expanding CDMO specializing in cell and gene therapies retained TCC for management of projects at their King of Prussia campus. The client’s vision to be the number one Advanced Therapies CDMO required large-scale manufacturing infrastructure/lab space to support long-term growth goals. TCC provided full project management services for design and construction of seven (7) floors, 30,000 sqft each, of GMP lab and manufacturing space. Programming included methods, analytical, viral vector, cell processing, cell and gene therapy, and plasmid production space. TCC managed additional construction and CQV efforts for warehousing, cold box, and office projects alongside campus infrastructure projects which were required to support the needs of the growing space. TCC oversaw design planning to ensure that all space was programmed in the most operationally effective locations with adjacencies to relevant spaces. The TCC team authored a preliminary scope of work and managed qualified vendor RFPs and bid comparisons for the client. Throughout the full project lifecycle, TCC led campus-wide coordination and managed timely responses to requests for information from end users, leadership, architects, and engineers.
