Easy Access Across The DistrictInterns can across DC via a variety of transportation options, including afree university shuttle, public transit, biking, and rideshares. Intern residents have peace of mind knowing that they’re protected by theGeorgetown University Police Department (GUPD), who provide securityand police services on the Georgetown University Main and MedicalCenter campuses and off campus properties. Utilizing foot patrols, vehiclesand bicycles, the officers patrol the campus twenty-four hours a day, sevendays a week.
