As we approach the beginning of summer, students can still conrm their enrollment through their Cardinal Landing portal. This is where they’ve previously received their decision letters, updates on their application status, and more. By conrming their enrollment, students will gain access to exclusive benets including selection of their Orientation date and a greater likelihood of being assigned to their respective Living-Learning Community. Financial Aid UpdatesThe 2025-26 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is still available for all eligible students at studentaid.gov. If your student has any nancial aid questions specic to Ball State and the oer they received, they can contact cardinalcentral@bsu.edu. Students will also have the opportunity to meet with sta one-on-one while on-campus during their Orientation session. Learn more on the Cardinal Central webpage.

To ensure that they are fully prepared, there are critical next steps for students to follow below:2. FILE THE 2025-26 FAFSASubmit their FAFSA if they have not already done so. Ball State’s school code is 001786.4. REGISTER FOR ORIENTATIONSelect an Orientation date in their Cardinal Landing portal.3. SIGN UP FOR HOUSINGComplete their Housing application online.1. CONFIRM ENROLLMENTStudents admitted to Ball State University may conrm their enrollment in their Cardinal Landing portal.Students can still apply for Fall 2025, if they have not already done so. Registration for Orientation is now open! Invitations have been sent to students via email, encouraging them to conrm their enrollment and register for their Orientation session in their Cardinal Landing portal, if they have not already done so. This is a two-day mandatory program, allowing students to explore campus resources, connect with fellow Cardinals, and plan their Fall 2025 classes one-on-one with an academic advisor. Programs are available on select dates between June 2 - July 10, 2025. Learn more about Orientation at bsu.edu/orientation.CALLING ALL INCOMING CARDINALS!ORIENTATION 2025Depending on your high school curriculum and the student’s major, they may need to take a placement exam in mathematics and/or a world language. The exams are free and should be completed prior to Orientation. Take a look here to review the majors that require placement testing.Students must submit required documents including their nal high school transcript. Final transcripts can be sent to Ball State Admissions electronically through Parchment or Naviance. Additionally, they must send ocial score reports or transcripts from each institution awarding credit for the following courses: Advanced Placement (AP) International Baccalaureate (IB) Dual CreditThese documents can be sent to Ball State through the institution’s electronic submission service or mail an ocial copy directly to Ball State Admissions.WORLD LANGUAGE PLACEMENT TESTMATHEMATICS PLACEMENT TEST

Conrmed students looking to move in early, make connections with peers, and acclimate to campus should consider one of our many Summer Bridge programs. Summer Bridge is designed to support our students as they make the transition to college. Program fees vary depending on the program—some are free! Students will receive information on how to participate later this spring.Summer Bridge ProgramsDo you have any students looking for something to do with their summer vacation? Ball State has partnered with the Eli Lilly foundation to host a series of on-campus summer camps where students can tap into their leadership skills, explore their academic interests, and get a taste for what it’s like to live on campus as they spend a week in one of our residence halls.
