13DESIGN DETAILS FOR THE WOOD FIRED SURFACEwith Lindsay OesterritterFriday - TuesdayJune 27 - July 1Join us for an immersive five day workshop led by renowned ceramicartist Lindsay Oesteritter. Dive into the art of wood firing as well as ahands-on workshop in the ceramics studio. This intensive course willfocus on firing the wood kiln with a reduction cooling. Students will bringhigh-fire bisqueware to be slipped or glazed as we cover wadding, loading,firing, reduction cooling, unloading, and cleaning our wares post-firing. PoliciesREGISTRATIONRegistration closes five business daysprior to the start of the class in orderfor instructors to facilitate the bestexperience.PAYMENTStudents must pay for classes in fullupon registration. Payments can bemade online, by mail, by phone, or inperson at HYS offices during businesshours. HYS accepts payment by creditcard (Visa and MasterCard only),cash or check (payable to HYS, Inc.).Do not send cash by mail. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDSIf you are unable to take aclass/workshop/camp for which youare registered, HYS requires one-weeknotice prior to the date of the firstsession to receive a full refund.Cancellations with less than 7 daysnotice are eligible for a 50% refund ora 100% HYS credit. No refunds/creditissued after the second class of asession.
