THE THIEF COMES ONLY TO STEAL AND KILL AND DESTROY I HAVE COME THAT THEY MAY HAVE LIFE AND HAVE IT TO THE FULL 10 John 10 10 Vision Summary White Oak exists to connect people to full life in Jesus We cannot just say that s our mission We have to do it We re going to show it The most important thing about our mission is that you can do it You can connect people to full life in Jesus We want to trust forward asking and anticipating God to shake up our lives and move boldly through us We want the people and places around us to not only be moved but also shaken by the power of God in their lives OUR PRIMARY GOAL In this next season of ministry our primary goal is 100 ENGAGEMENT We want everyone to go on this journey with us taking deeper steps of trust with our Heavenly Father OUR SECONDARY GOAL Our secondary goal is mission advancement We are asking and trusting our Heavenly Father for 6 2 MILLION over the next two years for 3 Bold Moves Impact Hope Stewardship
BOLD IMPACT FUNDING WHITE OAK S BOLD LOCAL AND GLOBAL MINISTRY FOR THE NEXT TWO YEARS BECAUSE WOCC EXISTS TO SHOW JESUS TO THE WORLD Together we are here to change our communities White Oak Christian Church has existed for 190 years empowered by the Holy Spirit to reach into the lives of others and help them come to know the love of Jesus We will fuel ministry impact by being laser focused on connecting people our neighbors friends and families to their identity in Jesus equipping them to love and deploying them on God s mission 3 95M BOLD HOPE REIMAGINING HOW WE TAKE JESUS TO OTHERS BY BOLDLY BRINGING HOPE SERVING COMMUNITY NEEDS AND CONNECTING NEW PEOPLE TO FULL LIFE THROUGH OUR COLERAIN TWP MINISTRY WOCC has always been a pioneering church It s in our blood We fearlessly start new things and take ground in new places so that others may know Jesus We will create new strategies to serve our city including how our facilities can be used by our community and for our community We want people to know the love of Jesus When God opens the door we want to be ready 250 000
BOLD STEWARDSHIP MOVING BOLDLY BY REDUCING OUR DEBT TO POSITION OURSELVES FOR FUTURE MINISTRY IN THE LIVES OF FAMILIES EVERYWHERE WHITE OAK HAS INFLUENCE We leveraged debt for growth in Ross Twp which enabled us to be where we are We will be good stewards of the resources we have to pay down the debt so that we can use what God has entrusted to us to go where he wants us to go next The debt reduction isn t about buildings It s about our mission The building is a tool The mission is connecting disconnected people to full life in Jesus 2 0M STRETCH OUT YOUR HAND TO HEAL AND PERFORM MIRACULOUS SIGNS AND WONDERS THROUGH THE NAME OF YOUR HOLY SERVANT JESUS 31 AFTER THEY PRAYED THE PLACE WHERE THEY WERE MEETING WAS SHAKEN AND THEY WERE ALL FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT AND SPOKE THE WORD OF GOD BOLDLY 30 Acts 4 30 31 NIV
NEXT STEPS PRAY FERVENTLY Pray that God would do immesasurabely more than we can ask or imagine Ask the Lord for BOLDNESS to SHAKE up areas of your life where you have become complacent CELEBRATE FAITHFULLY Encourage others to engage with God s vision for them personally and for our church Communicate your excitement for all God is going to do in and through us in the next few years COMMIT FAITHFULLY Decide to fully engage in this lifealtering experience and commit to do whatever God asks Live a life marked by spending time daily with Jesus GIVE FREELY Ask God to show you what it looks like to give in a way that changes you and take whatever BOLD steps are required to see it through If we each bring our first and best together we ll accomplish God s vision in this next season at White Oak VISION NIGHTS SEPT 18 SEPT 25 SHAKEN SERMON SERIES BEGINS OCT 23 ADVANCE COMMITMENT NIGHT NOV 11 COMMITMENT SUNDAY NOV 20
