ON THE JOB COMMUNICATION:Per our Terms and Conditions: Communication between Members & Providers is prohibitedoutside of a scheduled and confirmed job. This policy respects each user's privacy & time.When the sitter is scheduled, Members & Sitters are able to communicatefreely and frequently, during the confirmed appointment timeframe.MEMBER & SITTER COMMUNICATION:FOR SITTERS:Sitters are not permitted to respond to Membercommunication, OUTSIDE of a confirmed job. Sittersforward any and all communication received, to ouroffice for assistance, via text message and/or email.FOR MEMBERS:Sitter phone numbers will be accessible to members onehour before the appointment starts. Families can use thistime to send welcome texts, provide parking instructions,or inform sitters of delays. Changing the date and time of a confirmed job by callingthe sitter is prohibited and must instead be cancelledthrough the member account.FOR ALL USERS: Users who violate this policy jeopardize our business anddisrupt our logistics and will be removed from the platform.Page 3
PHONE POLICIESWHY THIS MATTERS28%PERSONAL USEPersonal phone use is for emergencies only. Keep your phone on silent or vibrate mode to avoiddistractions while babysitting. Immediate calls are expected only in urgent situations.ENTERTAINMENT USEStreaming music, watching videos, or using social media is not allowed unless it directly engages thechildren (e.g., kid-friendly songs, educational content) and is pre-approved by the parents. Phonesshould only be used discreetly when children are safe and supervised (e.g., during nap time).PHONE ACCESSIBILITYPhones must always be accessible and charged; sitters should respond to parents within 25minutes of receiving a message or call.COMMUNICATION WITH PARENTSMaintain professional and respectful communication with parents. If an issue requires immediateattention, call or text the parent directly.CONFIDENTIALITY & PRIVACYSitters must not take photos, videos, or share any personal details about the children, family, orhome without explicit parental consent. This includes social media and all digital platforms.DISCIPLINARY ACTIONSFailure to follow phone policies may result in corrective action, including removal from appointmentsor suspension from the platform. Reliability ReminderDay Shift (8 AM - 4 PM): You are on call during these hours but arenot required to stay past 4 PM.Evening Shift (4 PM - 10 PM): You are on call during these hours. STLSITTER + TAXES: HOW IT WORKSSitter Tax Information: While our team sets the rates sitters are owed, and the policies surrounding payment processes, we do not provide any tax forms for providers due to your Independent Contractor status.
For payments received, providers are asked to keep their own records, as we are not directly included in the provider payment processes. If you have filled out any forms throughout the year for a family or corporate client, they may contact you, or send you something regarding this - which is completely normal!If you need any additional information, please let us know and we will see what we can do to help!
