You must register during fall, winter, and spring/summer registration. We eliminated the pay-at-the-door fees, and you will pay one fee during registration time each season. Bowling and Dance Club Participants: If you registered for the Dance Clubs or Bowling, we are now requiring registration each season. Identification for Bowling and Dance Clubs: Beginning in Fall 2023, we eliminated dance cards, and you must bring your photo ID for entry. Program Confirmation Notices: For all participants who register in our programs, you will receive a confirmation notice either by email or mail at least two weeks prior to the start of the program. Please remember to look for the confirmation notices. We do attach program flyers with all detailed information regarding each program you have registered for. The St. Louis Arc is honored to have received renewed support from BluePrint4. The needed funding provided scholarship assistance to allow youth with limited financial ability to participate in our Neighborhood Experiences summer project. Founded in 2015, Blueprint4 is committed to helping youth succeed by connecting them to opportunities that develop their creativity, expand their education, and prepare them for career success. Discover the Perfect Program 4 Your Child Blueprint4 offers a fast, free, and easy way to find the perfect out-of-school time program for your family. Start today using our search platform to find the best program for you! https://blueprint4.com In May 2023, the Leisure Services Department sent a Leisure Needs Assessment Survey to participants, families, staff, volunteers, and community organizations. This survey was conducted to assist with expansion, the development of new programs, and enhance the quality of existing programs. Two hundred and eight-five people with disabilities, and one hundred and thirty-two people from community organizations completed the survey in July 2023. After thorough analysis by the Quality and Leisure Management teams, the survey indicated high interest in expanding Arc United Sports programs, adult swimming, outdoor family events, dance lessons, active older adult programming, recreation programs offered during the weekdays, young adult clubs, and virtual reality programming. Indicated barriers were timing of programs and distance to program facilities. Based upon some of the feedback received, the Leisure Management team is restructuring the department, and hiring a new Leisure Coordinator to begin the developing and implementing new programs within the next year. We would like to express a huge thank you to those who took the time to complete the survey, and announce our grand prize winner of the $100.00 gift card. Drum Roll.....Sarah Johnson is the GRAND PRIZE WINNER of the $100 gift card for the Leisure Services Needs Assessment Survey. Congrats Sarah! Leisure Times News
