Arc United sports are inclusive leagues and teams made up of bothpeople with and without disabilities playing in local community recreational leagues.The St. Louis Arc’s Leisure Services Department would like to recognize and thank the Productive Living Board ofSt. Louis County and the St. Louis Office for Developmental Disability Resources. PLB & DDR ensures funding fora spectrum of high-quality services that create opportunities for St. Louis County & City residents withdevelopmental disabilities to thrive in the home, community, and employment settings of their choosing. In May,the PLB Board approved $381,757 for the R&R Camp project. In addition, the PLB and the DDR Board approved$251,323 for the Neighborhood Experiences teen summer employment project. This Eastern Regional Alliancefunding for the Leisure Services Department helps provide services for ninety-seven individuals.Spotlight on New Leisure Programs for Active Older Adults, Arc United Sports, and Fine Arts!As fall approaches, the St. Louis Arc is thrilled to introduce seven new Leisure programs.We're launching four new classes under the Ageless Adventurers program, designed foractive older adults, both with and without disabilities. Ageless Adventurers focuses onconnecting individuals with similar interests, promoting engagement and community.
