St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish and our school together have a beautiful 13-acre campus. There is a great amount of green space for the students, with a playground andsoccer fields. Founded in 1996, St. John the Baptist Catholic School has grown tremendously, and now has acurrent enrollment of 384 students. Our student-to-teacher ratio is 19:1, which provides ourstudents with individualized learning. Over 90% of our graduates go on to continue theirCatholic education at our local Catholic high school, St. John Paul II, in Huntsville.We are first and foremost a Catholic school with strong Catholic identity. We believe thatChrist calls us to follow Him and share our life with Him. Our goal is to foster a life-longcommitment to Christ and to use our faith to make the world a better place, one child at a time. We are grateful to be connected to St. John the Baptist Parish and have Mass regularly as aschool community. Academic excellence is also very important to us. Our caring teachers are passionate abouthelping our students learn to their potential. We have a well-rounded curriculum that wefollow from the Diocese of Birmingham. Our students also have the opportunity to engage inmany extra-curricular activities including: band, art club, drama, math team, and more. Avariety of team sports are offered as well at our school. St. John the Baptist Catholic School thrives as well because of our committed families. Parentsregularly share their time and talents to help our school continue to grow and buildcommunity. We are so thankful. Together, we help our students reach their God-givenpotential and become productive citizens and faith-filled servants of God.
