The spotlight was on the life-improving procedure and great, personalized care provided by the surgical team. The outstanding surgical services offered at the hospital provide excellent health and recovery outcomes for patients and include the Robotic Center of Excellence supporting minimally invasive procedures for faster recovery.Imaging Project Update Kurt WeinmeisterChief Operating OfficerIt has been years in planning and development, and now our imaging services upgrades are on the brink of completion. The new Interventional Radiology suite is up and in use for therapeutic and diagnostic services. We’ve also enhanced and updated our radiography and fluoroscopy room with improved services. We recently brought the new 128-slice Computerized Tomography (CT) System online. In addition, a new 64-slice CT is being installed this month, and the hospital has also procured new ultrasound machines and a new portable x-ray machine. This new equipment will enhance the capability of our imaging services. We are pleased to share that the events of the day raised $145,000! The funds raised play a crucial role in the hospital’s ability to purchase much needed capital equipment. The lounge is open to all members of the Medical Staff and Allied Health Staff and is badge accessible. In this area, there is a massage chair, television, dining area, coffee service, ready to heat and eat food, as well as a documentation area away from the units. Stop by the next time you are at the hospital for a quick snack or to catch up with colleagues! New Gym to Open in AugustWe are excited to announce a new benefit for our employees and medical staff. We are in the process of remodeling the Rehabilitation Services Area in the Outpatient Building to accommodate an area where staff and physicians can get a quick workout during their day. We are targeting the opening of this for August 2023.No long term commitment and no high pressure sales pitch! To maintain and replace gym equipment, we require that participants make a donation of $25/year and sign a release of liability. Additional information will be forthcoming on how to sign up and the hours of operation.
