It was a magical moment when Anabella realized she could see the fairy.

Page 3

She was in awethat her wish came true. All she could think about wasmaking friendswith the little fairy.

Page 4

She quickly forgot hermother's warningnever to wander into the woodsfor fear she may get lost.

Page 5

As Rose flew deeper into the forest Anabella stayed close behind, moving further from her home.

Page 6

No humanhad ever been inStarfire Village beforeso Rose felt compelledto send Anabella awayas they approachedthe entrance.

Page 7

Knowing she wasabout to break a ruleby communicatingwith the little girl,Rose turnedtoward her.

Page 8

She told Anabella she wantedto grant her a wish when she heardher singing in the garden,so she sprinkled her with glitter dust.

Page 9

Anabella was surprisedthe fairy spoke to her,and she smiled.

Rose asked herto sing one more songwith the promisesome bunny friendswould guide her safelyhome after.

Soon thealluringmelodyreached thedream fairieswho were playing in thevillage.

Page 13

One by one they venturedout and hid behind the brush, stunned to see a little girl singing.

Page 14

Since the dream fairies had neverseen a human before, they were very curiousand slowly flew closer. Anabella could not believe her eyes.It was way beyond her wildest dream!

Page 15

The fairies did not sense dangerso they happily flutteredall around Anabella. She was concernedthey might disappearif she stopped,so she continued singingenthusiastically.

Soon the sound of the lively gatheringdrifted throughout the forest.Other flower fairies returningto the village joined in the fun,as did dragonflies, butterflies, birds, bunnies, squirrels, chipmunks, and otherwoodland creatures.

Page 17

When the elf in chargeof Starfire Village arrived, she wasn't sure what to do.Miss Di believedthe rules were made tokeep everyone out of danger. Yet, when she heardthe spirited song, she decided to allow thehappiness to continue.

Page 18

Eventually Miss Direalized it was getting late, and almost dinner time. She wanted the fairiesto go back to the villagewhere they would be safe.

Page 19

She also knew it wastoo late for Anabellato make her way homebefore dark,so Miss Di invited herto join them for the nightin Starfire Village.

Page 20

Rose was worriedshe had broken the rule, but Miss Di assured herAnabella was a giftto the entire village, and then gave Rose a hug.

Page 21

As darkness fellthe fireflies arrivedto light up the night, making the village sparklein dazzling radiance as thedinner gala began.

Page 22

I believe it was one of themost splendid of eveningsin Starfire Village. To this daymemories of that nightare still fondly spoken ofon festive evenings whenthe villagers gather fordinner and merriment.

Page 23

Finally, it was time for sleep.Rose whispered goodnightand thanked Anabellafor her friendshipbefore she fluttered away.Anabella curled up in the furof a little red foxat the base ofthe fairy tree castle.

Page 24

The fox protected herand kept her warm. Soon she fell asleepand her dreams carried herinto an enchanting wonderlandfilled with magic and fairiesand music and dancing. Was it all just a dream…
