Mickey wanted to be with hermom when the cubs were bornso they traveled toher location.
It was in different adirection from the villageand Gray didn’t want tochance it by stopping.
Luckily, they made it toher family’s caveand the cubs were bornshortly after.
He told all the villagershe truly missed themand was happy to returnin time for the Lyridsand proud to introducethem to his family.
He presentedGrayson and Ava,now three months old.
Eddie started hystericallylaughing and declaredhe knew why theynamed their son Grayson.
Gray’s eyes twinkled with delight,knowing someone guessed his riddle.He knew Eddie was quite cleverand if anyone figured it out,it would surely be him.
Eddie yelled,He’s Gray’s son, get it?G-r-a-y-s-o-n!
Eddie's cousinsand the entirevillage explodedin a roar oflaughter.
It was a happy reunion, andGray expressed his desireto stay an extra dayso the cubs could playwith everyone.Suddenly Gray spotteda little girl.
The sprites andwoodland creatureswere finishingpreparations forthe evening festivitieswhen Gray appeared.
Snippy ran over and madeintroductions betweenAnabella and the bears.
Chipper told the storyof how Anabellaarrived at the villageand had been therefor days and days, butwould be goinghome in the morning.
Gray could see both thehappiness and sadnessin her eyes.He told her ifthe cubs would comedown from the treefor a while,they could playtogether.
Many joined in toplay tag with the cubs,frolicking lateinto the afternoon.
As the sun started to fadethe villagers heard a howlat the same time Gray did.
Miss Di realized she hadnot told Gray aboutthe coyotes yet.She shifted his attentionand filled him in.
Anabella enjoyed listening toMiss Di recall the storyabout her courageousencounter with the coyotes.
She loved the descriptionsof Dude and Colt and Cade.Yet, it made her missher dog even more.
Anabella looked at Grayand could see the magicin his eyes.Gray expressed hisdesire to meet them.
The coyotes were on their way,howling with delight...
They were thrilled to see himafter waiting a whole yearsince his last visit.

Everyone begantalking at onceand no one noticedanything else...
...until Sam, perched highup in a tree,started hollering,Looky, looky,baby bears!
Out of the blue,two bear cubs appeared andstopped short in front ofthe growing crowd.What a joyous surprise!
Miss Di stepped forward togreet Gray and his new family.
Gray explained he hadmarried his beloved Mickeyafter his last visit.Then over the summerthey realized shewas expecting babies.
