Spanish River High School Welcome Sharks lacrosse fans to an exciting season of lacrosse As the Principal and Athletic Director of Spanish River High School we both want to thank you for supporting our boys lacrosse team These athletes have been working extremely hard and are looking forward to providing us all with some great fast paced and competitive games We appreciate the efforts of the lacrosse team s coaches who put so much of themselves into developing these athletes as players and young men Lacrosse has grown exponentially in Florida over the past several years and we are pleased that at Spanish River High School our athletes are able to participate at a high level in this incredible sport Lacrosse was the first American sport played by Native Americans centuries ago and is now played by hundreds of thousands of athletes throughout the United States and all over the world We look forward to the continued growth and success of the lacrosse program at Spanish River High School Please join us in being big fans of our Spanish River Sharks boys lacrosse team and let s all enjoy watching our athletes play this wonderful sport with great sportsmanship and character William Latson Principal Spanish River High School Kevin McEnroe Athletic Director Spanish River High School 3

2018 SPANISH RIVER BOYS LACROSSE Coach Jon Trama Coach Trama joins us for a second season at the helm of the Spanish River program Originally from Long Island New York he has been coaching or playing most of his life In college Coach Trama was an All American and 3 time conference champion in the Pioneer Collegiate Lacrosse League of the MCLA He was Rookie of the Year and amassed over 100 points in his 3 year career at Briarcliffe College Coach Trama is committed to building a quality program that represents Spanish River High both on and off the field in a positive light LACROSSE TEAM CAPTAINS ALEX EHRENSTEIN ADAM DIAMOND RYAN GILLESPIE JACK KAPLAN ERIC LORENZO Third year captain lead the team in scoring in 2016 and 2017 is currently committed to DIV 3 RPI for Lacrosse in the Fall First year captain and third year starter looks to anchor a formidable Sharks Defense for the 2018 campaign Second Year captain was third on the team in scoring as a freshmen starter in 2017 First year Captain Named to starting attack as a freshmen looks to help lead a very young Sharks offense in 2018 Second year captain lead the team in ground balls in 2017 will be attending FSU in the fall MIDDIE DEFENSE ATTACK 5 ATTACK MIDDIE
