Project GoalContribute to Haiti’s reforestation by planting new trees in Balan, Haiti.Changes to Project DescriptionDue to market unavailability, the grenadine seeds have been replacedwith two pounds of moringa seeds and two pounds of orange seeds.The following seeds were donated to MISSEH (by its acronym inFrench, Social Mission of Haitian Churches):Royal poinciana (four pounds)Physic nut, a herbal remedy (one pound)Breadfruit (four pounds)The fAlso, still as a result of the low availability of seeds on themarketplace versus the demand, the following changes have beendone in the quantity of the seeds except the lemon seeds:The project has undergone the following changes:- 3 lbs of cheery seeds instead of 4 lbs- 3 lbs of papaya seeds instead of 4lbs- 5 lbs of grapefruit seeds instead of 4 lbs- 4 lbs of cassia seeds instead of 6 lbs- 5 lbs of cedar seeds instead of 4 lbs- 5 lbs of oak seeds instead of 6lbs In the last revised budget, the description line: Labor for theconstruction of a hangar of 192 square meter was entered wrong. Theright description should be: Labor for the construction of a hangar of 96square meter.
Site PreparationSite preparation is an ongoing activity and will be required throughout theproject.Perimeter Blockwal The perimeter blockwall is in progress and advancing at an excellent pace.
