Our NEST program is a dual-enrollment partnership between Ball State University and Ivy Tech Community College Muncie. Participating students take general education and pre-requisite courses at Ivy Tech’s Muncie campus and take one class per semester at Ball State. NEST students live in residence halls alongside other Ball State students and are able to participate in most campus community activities. This program is for select high school students who applied to and were waitlisted at Ball State, then invited to apply to the NEST program.Waitlisted & Denied ApplicantsStudents who have been waitlisted have been notied in their decision letter, which can be found in their Cardinal Landing portal. This letter details why the student has been waitlisted and what steps can be taken to have their application reevaluated. If the student is waitlisted due to their GPA, they must submit an updated semester or trimester transcript once nal grades are posted. If the student is waitlisted due to their curriculum or trends, we request that they meet our CORE 40 requirements or show a signicant improvement in their academic performance after having a recent downward trend. For students that have been denied admission, we encourage them to explore our Transfer Flight Path programs. These programs give students the chance to begin their academic journey at Ivy Tech or Vincennes University while still receiving the support and guidance from Ball State advisors. More information about our Transfer Flight Paths can be found on our webpage. Students can enroll in one of these programs with this form. NEST ProgramThere is still time to be admitted this fall!
