Hello I am Rochelle Rodriguez fashion designer and owner of The Story SPARKLE Having been a dancer for over half my life I am thrilled to share this latest adventure with you Before I went to the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles I spent countless hours in practice rehearsals and performances first as a high school drill teamer then as a world famous Kilgore College Rangerette I then danced as a Dallas Maverick Dancer and finally as a professional dancer in Los Angeles While in California my journey led me to the exciting world of fashion design I started my own line Rochelle Rodriguez Clothing in 2007 It was only a matter of time before my two passions would collide SPARKLE grew from a favor to the drill team director at my former high school She wanted to use a style from my women s contemporary collection for her officers Before I knew it I was designing all sorts of runway inspired costumes for my dance team director friends Now SPARKLE is in its third year I am excited to bring you the first printed catalog with plenty of new looks I hope you are inspired and I can t wait to help you SPARKLE www sparkle dance com

Adorable custom chandeliers Available on ETSY Shop custompayge Colby Johnston Raised in Kilgore Texas Colby Johnston a senior attending Kilgore High School began her dance studies at the age of seven with Pat George Mitchell founder and director of Longview Ballet Theatre She danced her way from studio guest artist to Principal Senior Company Member and was afforded the opportunity to partner with dance opposite and be coached by world class professional dancers such as Amanda Edge William Ward Daniel Ulbricht Mabel Madrono Tyler Ingram and Wendy Whelan She also studied at Miami City Ballet s Summer intensives She began her jazz training with Tempe Kirby at the age of 12 Colby also served as Captain of the Kilgore High School Hi Steppers her junior year and is currently serving as senior captain Upon graduation Colby will continue her dance education in college in order to pursue her goal of becoming a professional dancer www sparkle dance com

Lexi Johnston Lexi Johnston from Kilgore Texas began dancing with Longview Ballet Theatre at age 6 under the direction of Pat George Mitchell She studied classical ballet there for 12 years Since age 9 she has also studied at various summer intensives including Hubbard Street Dance Chicago Miami City Ballet San Francisco Ballet School of American Ballet and American Ballet Theatre Johnston also served as captain of the Kilgore High School Hi Steppers her junior and senior year In 2010 Johnston was chosen as the Cover Girl for American Dance Drill Team company After graduating from Kilgore High School in 2011 Johnston continued her dance education at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts She will be a Sophomore there this fall working towards her degree in classical ballet She hopes to dance with a contemporary ballet company in the future www sparkle dance com
